Smithers Posted December 17, 2019 Author Posted December 17, 2019 Baroness Swinson?? Just what does it take to become part of the Nobility? Although this is not a definite yet but you can bet you're boots it's highly likely. Do we really need the house of Lords? or is time we modernised up a bit and got rid of the swamp altogether? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-7799119/RICHARD-LITTLEJOHN-Spare-Baroness-Swinson-Stop-Brexit-taking-seat-House-Lords.html Quote

Guest Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 Boris Johnson is now removing his pre-election commitment to maintaining worker’s rights from his Brexit bill. It’s what Northern working class labour Leave voters were demanding apparently. Quote

That's a bit mischievous XTreme. What is your source. He certainly is removing it from the Brexit bill and my understating is that workers rights will be enshrined in law and will be included in the Queens speech. Source Telegraph today. There's no point in supplying a link because you peasants are too tight to subscribe and won't be able to read the article. Quote

Bender Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 Corbyn actively lost it for labour, you can blame no one and nothing other than the leader of Labour and labour for allowing in to be the leader. Quote

This will soon be followed by a champagne socialist leader more likely, we have Sir Kier Starmer (millionaire) deleted from wiki. Lady Emily Thornberry, Oh yes another titled MP. The other three front runners, I sort of like, Northern, working class background and intelligent, Long-bailey, Nandi and Rayner. All in all Prime Ministers question should be highly entertaining next year. Quote
