I bought a mesh jacket in March. By May it was twice the price. Then we had a crap summer. I've used it more in September than the whole of the summer put together.

Im not buying it for here. Though it may prove useful. I’m buying it for, err, there. Days of 38c plus gets a bit wearing. I do get about. I was glad I took my mesh jacket with me to the Eifel. It really needs updating though. And I need vented trousers to match. Kewl as the kiddies say.

so. I’m poised to pounce. I fink I alreddy sed dat.

Survived a blowout at erm 70ish. Bike toppled at last second and I don't think there's a single scratch luckily. Aa en route. 20230915_141015.thumb.jpg.b5965780a787eb525e40566e11bbb5cd.jpg

Glad you are ok and all is well. Now unless you were unable, if that was me, the first thing l would have wanted to do was pick the bike up, not take off my helmet and pack and take a picture.

Took the Kwak for MOT on Friday, got an advisory for a sticky front brake and a fail on the rear brake fluctuating.

Rear brake was a bit of a surprise as I can't feel anything thru the pedal.

Anyway ordered a new disc and front seal kit.

Stripped the caliper this afternoon, found a load of corrosion behind the dust seals which was probably the cause , cleaned everything up and the pistons just glide back in.

Hopefully the disc will get here in a day or two ready for the retest on Friday.

Dropped my new bike. Two days in and I dropped it whilst pulling away in the car park. Only damage was my pride as I just happened to do it with 40 bikers watching me at the Foodstop Cafe in Bridgenorth. Luckily the panier held the bike off the floor so no harm done. Duffer!

Went out to buy a 125, will be doing DAS in Feb.

Got a Voge 125r in blue. For the price £3k, seem to get a lot of bike for a 125.

MOT'd the Kawasaki yesterday, new caliper seals on the front and a new disc on the rear.

There was a fair amount of corrosion under the disc which took a bit of scraping and cleaning up.
