Thinking of giving one of these a go later, anyone seen them or got other recommendations?

I watched it the other night. It’s not bad

Oil in the Blood I thought was better, actually bought the DVD when it first came out. Why We Ride not bad; American and a little more eclectic in its subject matter. Both well worth a watch though.

I enjoyed it..

Ride with Norman Reedus is cool..

Just tried the Beckham one that's new, but it seems made up. there on an Indian style bike, no protective gear and they do not look to be doing the mileage they say. ongoing.

On Any Sunday!

Nothing gets close!

Love the bit that mockingly goes something like , This bike is made by the Yam ahh haar ( Yamaha ) musical instrument company . I guess we won't be seeing much of these guys again ! I probably need to watch it again but if I remember correctly that's the jist of it .

I really wanted to enjoy Long Way Round and Long Way Down but I just can't abide Charlie Boorman . Ross Noble did a good one in Australia with no backup team , just himself and a camera .

fastbob I'll have a look for that. I found driving in Australia to be really enjoyable so I can only imagine how much fun it would be by bike :D

We have been watching Itchy Boots on youtube and really enjoyed it. Of course she is grounded now like the rest of us but there are plenty of vids to watch.

I watched both seasons of that and I also just couldnt help think Charlie didnt fit. Swearing didnt suit him or any manly stuff lol. Enjoyed it overall though.

I just thought the "Long way" series just failed because of the back up and T.V posing.

Especially as at about the same time that nutcase Nick Sanders was decimating the record books unsupported on things like R1`s.

So wanted to like "Long Way" but couldn't.

You'll do well to find a better one than "Road", it's really good.

Thanks I will look out for it!

Race to Dakar is a good laugh! Charley Boorman sure does get the piss taken a lot for just being Ewan's not so famous mate, but honestly when he had a show to himself he did pretty well.
