Flaming puncture on the car going into work this morning. Pulled over to change it in the dark. Took one wheel nut off went to do the next but the others were all a different size and the wheel brace was too small. Had to call breakdown and wait two hours for them to turn up. Then went to get fuel on the way home only to find both petrol stations I went to had no diesel.

Very good morning all :thumb:

Have anyone heard of these guys?

Never heard of them but I just watched the Youtube video and they look very impressive and I like the technology. I thought one may improve my mpg on the Beta but when I priced one up decided that maybe it wasn't too bad after all

A few years ago my mother in law gave my good lady money to buy me Christmas presents. The money was used to buy a subscription to Motorcycle Sport and Leisure magazine. The MiL passed away a little while ago but the subscription was never cancelled. Since I lost my enthusiasm for reading bike magazines I now have a pile of ten unread issues. I’m loathe to throw them out unread so I’m now ploughing through them, being selective about the articles. I should be finished by Christmas.

Check out the spannery additions my 2 year old daughter made to our Christmas tree!

Fair doos, she did bust a couple of conventional decorations but I think I'm going to nurture her interest in tools.

2 new tyres on the car yesterday, merry Xmas to that. Neighbours brought round some stollen they had made. The atacama desert has more moisture, merry Xmas to that. Now sat listening to the blues show, supping rum, and cooking beef and ale pie, merry Xmas to that 🥳. Life is shit but also good, here endeth the lesson.

Of course it's cold and frosty. I have to repair our daughter's tumble dryer (again) which is in a shed outdoors.

At least this time I know the capacitor is ok, it's the front of the drum that is running stiff.

Ah - I can't edit my previous post - but I've sussed which one it is and ordered a replacement for the vast sum of £9.95. Hopefully that will get it going again. 'Twas a tad chilly working outside handling the metal casing with bare fingers.
