Sometimes life is tough. Due to family commitments my variety of mates couldn't all ride on the one day. So as it's my week off I've arranged rides on both Thursday and Friday. Yesterday was Sleap aerodrome for brekky. Today it's Old Stores. Then a prom ride this evening for a the daughter of another mate. She wants to arrive on the back of her dad's bike accompanied by a lot of badass bikers.

It's not even as if I get a quiet weekend to recover. We're taking the smaller granddaughter to the beach - she's never been to a beach before. I expect much sand will be eaten.

Sounds absolutely awesome!

Better than getting fat, sitting on the sofa...

I found a number plate off my old VFR750 - the cartons were a bit of fun and were occasionally an ice breaker on social occasions.

The bike is still on the road, I believe.

Just been to escort a young lady to her prom. Choccy was presented. 😋

I am now hoovering the patio wearing a crash helmet. Our 3 year old granddaughter believes this to be the ultimate way to spend Friday evening.

Good evening. A fine one - a bottle of rosé has already been consumed between us while sitting outside and putting the world to rights. A bottle of 19 Crimes red is about to be opened to round off the evening while watching some brain out entertainment on television.

Life is good 🍷

Good evening, and having re-stripped and re-sealed the front callipers again, and also taking home a Chinese, it will be good.

That's nice. I hope you'll both be very happy together.

Good moaning - Went 'tagging' yesterday luckily it was overcast and cooler (no rain!). Had a nice F&C meal at the Robin Hood in Sheringham (and a decent pint of 'Proper Job').

Traffic was not too bad (until coming back home). Spoke with a traffic cop about the bike and the 'problems' with young motorcyclists 'terrorising' pedestrians in the town (apparently 'they' are fond of doing wheelies along the main street late evenings). There are not enough local police to stop this from happening as there are similar problems in Comer!

Anyhoo, a good day out.

Good afternoon. This morning I have been mostly driving an Aston Martin DBS, a Posche 911 and a Lamborghini Galliardo on a “driving experience” - a birthday gift from my son. It was a short course up and down an airfield runway with a couple of chicanes thrown in to add interest.

Good fun while it lasted.

Three different cars giving widely different experiences. The Aston was super cool and smooth, the Porsche quick and fun, the Lambo… recalibrates any notion of what a fast car is - it’s performance way beyond my capabilities.

Funny you should mention Cars, Cars are definitely not my thing, Ive never even had a lesson.

The only car Ive ever liked was a Morgan. and even then only because it had a lovely JAP engine stuck to the front. it was quite old.

Anyway Ive just been to Vertu Honda and while they were busily fettling, I had a walk round to J&S to waste some time pointing and laughing. A favourite hobby of mine in that dreadful store. And walking past the line of rather glamorous showrooms I spot this and have to admit, painful as it is, that it looks like a lot of fun.

I have no idea what it is.. but the car next to it cost £379,000 and was very red. it was also very old. 1972.

anyway.. from the rear it looks like a boat.. but, I didn't take a photo as the reflections were even worse. I wouldn't attempt to go into a place like this as they are apt to call the police when someone like me turns up. Like Im apt to try and stuff a Maserati in my pocket and sneak it out.

I should add that it is a brand new 3 wheeler and the card next to it listed the available options.

I can almost see myself in one of these.. heading down to the Côte d'Azur for fish and chips and a stick of rock. and then wending my way along the coast to  Cannes for a can of special brew. by the seaside. Thinking how posh I am. mutton dressed as mutton.
