Illegal under current law and I can't see that ever being approved.

Why single out "anti social" motorcyclists?

It says .. "I don’t mean our law-abiding bikers here," said Ms McGuinness, who has urged the Policing Minister to give the idea the green light. "I’m talking about trouble-makers, often young people riding un-roadworthy bikes, which in some cases have been stolen."

Has she called for trackers on anti social car drivers too? They probably cause more trouble!

All non law abiding twunts would not have the tracker and only upstanding people end up with them.
can’t see the uninsured/non-mot’d/tax avoided people keeping the tracker on such vehicles.

Another fooking politician talking out of her over privileged arse!  Does she not realise that those who use bikes illegally or anti socially will find ways to circumnavigate these tracking systems,  just like they find ways around every other security measure used!

This is the problem, the law abiding get screwed over time and time again while the riff raff carry on regardless.

Elections are 6th May so I think she is just trying to raise her profile and get herself in the news.

Being Labour she can't pick on travellers or immigrants so she's going after another minority.

Just today I rode 300 miles. Took me 5.5 hours at an average speed of 54 mph. However my max. speed was somewhat in excess of that and some bloody fink installed on my bike would not be welcome.
