Bender
This is the most common sense approach I've come across for rules https://www.canarianweekly.com/posts/Fines-for-groups-of-cyclists-The-DGT-imposes-rules-for-riding-in-a-peloton
manxie49
I like it, no ambiguity that I could see and very little left to personal interpretation.
Steve_M
Not sure I’d have appreciated the 25km/h speed limit in urban areas in the days when I cycled to work. My average was well above that.

Other countries e.g. Germany are different.

Nope, can't get done for speeding on bike in uk, you can get done for cycling furiously or some other such archaic phrase/law

Mickly
I had many cycling fails as a yoof The worst was coming home from school & cycling through the subway, at each end there was a 90 degree bend so I used to do a pretend speedway turn at each end by touching the rear brake .. all so good so far, on this particular day there were 2 coppers around the corner looking to collar anyone doing anything dodgy and I ran into one of them as he stepped out - his own bleeding fault as he should have made himself more visible, this argument didn’t seem to work and I got into a pile of shit at the station, at home & at school. I took to getting free rides on the school coach as no one ever checked who was getting on or off
S-Westerly
There's a hill in Bristol where the speed limit is 20 mph and buses and cars creeping down the hill regularly get passed by pedal bikes.
