I love the triple hazy jane ( probably because it's 9.5%  )  but just hate paying £4 a tin

Carling, might aswell drink stright from the nightclub toilet...🤣

Painfully expensive? Craft ales Just made better on a smaller scale, old bean.🧐, but if its a nearly 9% its not that greatly different in cost to effect 🥴🤭.
Problem i have with Brewdog is there loads of so called varieties just with ever so slightly different print but

Most pretty much tastes the same.

much prefer Vocation or Salts selection myself.

Just hit him on the head with a hammer. In the morning the result will be the same but your purse will be a lot happier.

I speak from experience !

I have a problem with Whisky, I like Whisky. I like the taste, different flavours, the aromas and experience & anticipation of trying something new. The problem is Whisky does like me. Brandy or Rum and I fine the next morning, well mostly fine. Whisky, and trust me I've forced myself to experiment with quite a few in an attempt to cure myself of this problem, but jeez does the stuff give me a hangover. A don't drawer the curtains, I could throw up at any time, just leave me in the corner to die hangover. The other problems is there are still some brands that I haven't tried yet. Maybe, you know just maybe? . . . No, I doubt it either!

Whiskey good especially singles 😊but the only three i really dont get on with is Jack, James and Grant, really bad taste and head.

Most ales and crafts 😊.

when younger i didn't mind vodka but not for a long time.

Wine, Rum and cider 🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮.

Some beers im allergic to strangely.

stouts 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮.

anyway maybe we should start a alcohol thread? call it alcoholics advice group, lol.

I had the same problem with Scotch. Japanese whisky seems ok and so does Bourbon or Rye whiskey.

I really like rum, still do and probably always will but it has given me some of the worst hangovers ever. But then getting absolutely hammered tends to do that. Haven't done it for a while either. Maybe I'm finally growing up?

Obviously there’s nothing wrong with a sailor liking rum. In fact I’m sure there are rules wherein it is written down in tiny letters that you must. Or risk being keelhawled. Or walk the plank. Or something equally exciting.

shiver me err timbers.

My friend loved the whisky btw.  Thank you everyone for the suggestions and I'm sorry that I've turned this into an alcoholics advice group thread 🤣

I hope I live to that age as I drink all those things 🤣  I'm having JD and lemonade tonight though 😋

My old dad resigned his commission in the Royal Navy when they abolished the Rum Ration.  Couldn't swallow the anchor though and tried many navies to see if they still had a rum ration. No joy.

He became a pirate and retired to Cuba with the proceeds of a Dutch oil tanker taken off the Horn of Africa.

Back in the early 80's the NZ navy still had a rum issue. We were berthed in Invercargill behind a small corvette and the dockers didn't work weekends. Spent the Saturday carousing with the Kiwis on their naval issue rum - good stuff. Spent Sunday carousing in a Maori pub where we were locked in. Bit of a lost weekend really.

I wonder if you can run a motorbike on it instead of petrol?

I don’t know about Chinese whiskey, met a lad once who brought home a bottle of Nigerian Whiskey.

Took it home hold luggage, it broke.  Then melted his CD’s.
