Had some dodgy lemon curd on toast this morning. Drove into central London and had to pull over in a red route buss lane to throw up!!

Probably gonna be the most expensive lemon curd on toast ever..

thats nasty, surely you cant be fined for something like that? :o

Dunno yet mate. Stopping in the red route bus lane is a finable offence.. Time will tell...

If they see you being sick on the camera it will likely be let off unless the person watching is a totally heartless bast*rd.

If you get a letter appeal with mitigating circumstances being you become unexpectedly too ill to continue driving so pulled over to avoid being a hazard on the road. I'd also probably remind them of the saying De minimus, which is they need not concern themselves with trifles such as yours. It's minimal as you didn't do it on purpose, but out of common sense and need.

Today I paid £1300 of tax on a single months pay...

f**k it...

On the upside I could go and buy a brand spanking new MT09 right now... But nope... The rest of this money is coming out of the country with me. I wonder how many people do this out of spite like I am doing?

I did toy with the idea of going on the bike Stu........but it's a work meeting, so I'll get my fuel paid for going in the car........and it's 2 hours or so on the motorway, so if I took the bike and the scenic route it'd take a lot longer.......and I've got to be there by 10:30am!!

Dude, I've got exactly the same problem. Instead of sticking to our ring budget at the weekend, she spent the ring budget plus my bonus because "we can afford it"... All I could do was weakly complain "but that's my bike fund". I might as well not have said anything. :-(

You shudda mentioned it before! I'd got a great deal by going to a dealer that was branching out into direct sales, could have sent you their way. They broke a 50 carat bracelet (not mine lol) and put the old diamonds onto brand new platinum bands. Diamonds are then vat free. I got 0.97 carat for about 1/4 of beaverbrooks price and their diamond wasn't as big either :-)
