I find my custom made ones irritating after a couple of hours, but only the one. Using a different helmet made no difference.

Have you tried Green Flag. I know they cover older bikes but not sure about European cover.

Happy birthday @rennie hope you had a good one.

Question of Insurance claim -- which company?
JRH replied to crayonmuncher's topic in Motorbike Chat
I’ve had to use 4D. Wasn’t too bad, the biggest problem was with solicitors. long story shor. got rear ended at lights. 3rd party admitted fault. His insurer was based in Ireland. they would pay for damage but no injury claim. (Damaged shoulder and leg and back not serious enough for hospital just doctors painkillers etc) so had to go through my insurer eg 4D and solicitors. 4D chased and pressured the solicitors and got thing sorted , only took 14 months for injuries to be settled, bike payout took less than 2 months. -
I use an Oxford tyre gauge. Think it was a recommended buy in Ride magazine. Halfords sell them. It matches the reading on my digital gauge, but it is easer to get on the bike valves. https://www.halfords.com/motoring/motorcycling/motorcycle-accessories/oxford-tyre-gauge-pro-dial-type0-60psi-461054.html?_gl=1*1bgivsf*_up*MQ..*_ga*MTgyMDY5NTcwMS4xNjkwMjIzOTY1*_ga_VK44BRER97*MTY5MDIyMzk2Ni4xLjEuMTY5MDIyMzk4Ni4wLjAuMA..

Churchill are the 3rd party insurers. The OP insurers have passed the claim to 4th dimension to handle. -

Midges aren't too bad here near Eilean Donan, it's the damm horse flies that are biting.

I presume so as cars have to display a ticket.

And we will be heading into Scotland just as the weather breaks and the rains start.
