  1. Did the MoT go ok? & how loud were the testers pipes?
  2. Maybe ..... After a few months of rubbish weather & slippy roads the tyres can become squared off, when the weather improves and cornering angles increase the bike can fall suddenly off the squared off shoulder onto the side of the tyre, this can give a feeling of a rear slide & a reaction to this feeling such as tightening of the sphincter can induce a wobble. Also as the rolling radius of the rear tyre suddenly decreases it can cause a raising of rev’s adding to the illusion of a slide.
  3. These are good gear - I fitted some to my Speedtriple to help with cold fingers. They have also helped in fending off many wing mirrors & scrapes entering & exiting the garage, mine are definitely’used’ From what I remember they were £80 new, so £30 seems a fair price.

    Happy birthday

    Hope you had a good‘in
  5. Loved the Goon show, reminds me of ‘helping’ my late Dad in his garage as a kid with it playing & hearing him laugh out loud at some of their antics. A bit later in life I read some scripts - brilliant
  6. Was it something to do with the Goon show?

    First big bike

It’s obvious... You want a bored out Hayabusa with twin turbo’s & Nitrous, anything else would be frankly embarrassing
  8. I’d have to put sliders on my bollox if I rode one of those ... & wouldn’t be able to see passed my knees
  9. Fitted a USB plug - also shows battery Voltage, as it’s switched I didn’t bother with a separate relay, just attached it straight to the battery terminals.Only issue was the clip that stops it sliding off the bar mount snapped !! Typical Chinese shite ... not me being heavy handed.. oh no Bit of proper glue sorted it. (Pic taken with engine running ... hope I don’t get nicked for that )
  10. I wonder if the new bill describes what is or isn’t classed as a demo? eg The Ring of red? All those noisy bikes blocking traffic on the M25 and other places? I can only assume that any demo by bikers could never be described as peaceful as by nature the coming together of a large number will cause congestion & noise. So finger point at Bristol and say “yeah that’s what it’s all about “ but the powers that be will be unable to resist using it to put down any kind of dissent they don’t themselves support.
  11. This is where I got mine http://skyrichbatteries.co.uk/
  12. Try searching Skyrich batteries Or this place: https://dmsshop.co.uk/collections/motorcycle-batteries?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI98W1puvD7wIVibbtCh0ozQxHEAAYASAAEgLkQvD_BwE Don’t forget that you may need a suitable battery minder / charger - depending upon your circumstances.

  15. I’ve spent the last few days planning my long way down route to Cornwall plus a day riding round then a day back bagging as many tags as I can Can’t wait to be let off the leash ( weather providing of course )
  16. Please take note of @fastbob We know about MC’s in Earlsdon 🎚
  17. “Driver” not “ Rider”?
  18. Well that must be open to interpretation - how long are you allowed? What about if you are in a traffic jam? At the lights? Waiting to exit a junction? Waiting for the road to clear so you can pull away from the curb? Etc etc
  19. Just for a minute or two while I put my gloves on - no way would I leave it idling without being a foot or less away from it.
  20. Looks like a crank produced by the night shift at @rennie’s place
  21. “Riders hit Navarra” I thought that was the name of yet another Spanish rider
  22. We’ve had the same, can’t wait to get down there (Newquay Cornwall)
  23. £40 ?? Thats a bargain - gonna cost me about £500 for replacement rings, gaskets etc for the Trophy !!
  24. Very nice. Have they done anything to the performance to match the look?
