I took a 3 1/2 hour ride out today & coz it was hot I wore armoured jeans ilo leather, my take out was: 1/ The jeans started to chafe after a couple of hours ( only used them for short trips before ) - could be solved by wearing shorts underneath ilo boxers but it kind of defeats the object. 2/ Because the ventilated leather jacket was not zipped to the trousers it flapped around quite a bit at speed - this got tiring very quickly. So I would recommend a 2 piece that zips together & forgo the cooling for padding on the arse.

I knew a guy who worked as a manager for a company that had quite a few vans around the Cov area, having nearly been run off the road by one I told him & his reply was “we don’t employ them for their driving skills” I then pointed out that I was on my bike & being a fellow biker he shouldn’t be so flippant: he then got embarrassed and mumbled something about “looking in to it” Of course F all happened - so if you’re in Cov & see a ‘Sealability’ van … beware !!

Absolutely!! Unfortunately I wasn’t given the chance to eyeball them in court as they pleaded guilty when presented with the evidence. The way I see it, is that they got more than we thought they would but less than they deserved.
