  1. When I returned to biking I also considered the Tracer 900 but fell heavily for the Multistrada instead, helped by the fact I got a brilliant deal on it. I know, insectile, predator style but I still like it!
  2. Excellent bike but don't be afraid of its big brother the Tracer 900. You may fine it suits you better for longer.
  3. Assume every other road user is hell bent on trying to kill you and you won't go far wrong. Pessimists are rarely disappointed!
  4. Went "shopping" but via the Malvern Hills, Ledbury, Newent and Gloucester. About 80 miles. Saw loads of bikes out plus every layby or verge where you could park a car and walk somewhere was rammed. Including my local Standish Woods - actually had to pick my way through traffic on the way out which isn't normal.

    Sad news

So very sorry to hear your sad news. Not that condolences will be much consolation but you do have them.
  6. Handsome bikes the pair of them. If I wear dark glasses the colour is less eyeball scorching!
  7. Love a red bike. Or a black one, white, dark green, silver, blue, yellow or just about anything other than radioactive green!
  8. Have to say I've never been a fan of putrid green as a colour. Nice bikes but the colour? Jeez.
  9. Certainly wouldn't reject it from my mythical stable!
  10. Having a dry weekend much to my annoyance. My delivery of wine didn't happen as the van broke down! Have to wait until Monday now. Grr.
  11. Oh well done you. Really happy for you.
  12. I bought a pair of bullitts a couple of years back. Didn't like them at all so sitting unused in my wardrobe. Might use them for gardening.
  13. When my oldest grandson was about 2 he was really into Pepper Pig. I probably had to sit through every asinine episode in existence to that date. I hope to god I never have to endure another. Now he's reached the grand old age of 9 he denies ever liking the pig. Senile so young.
  14. Well done to your boy. Its a really great feeling when they accomplish something especially when it's a bit off the beaten track as it were. A morale booster for them too.
  15. And the very best of Britsh luck to you!
  16. R90s in this colour scheme. What I lusted after and dreamed of owning once. Sadly never did.
  17. Bit chilly though. That said when we were last in Oz my wife went leaping into the sea in South Australia in November. She promptly leapt straight out again having gone faintly blue. I pointed out the next land mass to the south was Antarctica. I declined her offer of going for a swim.
  18. I'd almost be willing to drink piss out of a boot to be able to actually go somewhere of my choice without any restrictions at all. California being probably my first choice followed by south east coast of Australia. At a pinch I'd even take Bognor Regis, but I'd draw the line at Blackpool.
  19. My word, you do know how to piss people off! Jealous as f**k, again.
  20. I think this weekend I'm going to do absolutely the same as last weekend etc. etc. etc. Anger management is struggling at the moment.
  21. I can totally get that. I saw a Ducati Multistrada parked up and thought I really fancy one of those. A few months later I came into some cash unexpectedly, not a lot and certainly not enough to go wild on but enough to buy a nice bike. The rest is history. When my wife whinged a bit I pointed out you're a long time dead.
  22. True - I had no need for a bike and although I always sort of wanted one I didn’t want it enough to sacrifice something else to pay for it. Largely to do with raising and educating my kids. Once they left the nest and I sold the boat I then had the time, the money and most importantly the desire to have a bike.
