Cyclists behaving sensibly and courteously is a bit of an oxymoron where I live. Especially for the MAMIL variety.

Do look regularly as bikes coming up fast from behind are the things most likely to catch you out. Also on motorways in Germany- bats out of hell don't even come close.

Can't say that applies to me. My gear lives in the cupboard under the stairs. 5 minutes to put it on and walk out to the bike where it takes a minute to get the lock off and another minute to back it down so I can ride off and I'm away.

Yes I would as they are generously cut. I'm normally XL but got L and it fits well.

If your speedo numbers are flashing could it be a glitch in your electrics? Have you tested any of the circuitry? Can't think of any mechanical issue that would cause speedo numbers to flash.

Ours was a biggish boat and the gas installation was "approved". Survey for insurance wasn't an issue as I can conduct survey myself and insurance was never an issue. If you are just "camping" in the boat what you fancy should work. My only concern would be burning fuel slopping out. Keep an extinguisher handy!

When I had a boat we had a built in gimballed gas oven. Worked brilliantly using large gas canisters hard piped with gas rated copper pipe.

I find it very difficult to eat biscuits on a bike; the crumbs get everywhere.

Have as much interest in an air fryer as in a hair dryer which given I've no hair is effectively nil. Just another gadget imo.

I've a pair of Scott over trousers for use in the summer. So far they've worked well. Easy enough to put on even over boots if you know the trick.

Had a similar happen to me but just let knobber past and watched him get flashed by a speed camera as he went hooning off into the distance. Guy in the video was totally out of order and the rider being female and all would have a case for assault I'd have thought.

We go away for the weekend and I carry everything in a small rucksack my wife has an entire suitcase "just in case". At least she never forgets anything, well apart from plane tickets once and we'd only got 5 miles down the road.

My son has a Tesla Model 3 company car and driving from Bristol to Cramlington hospital and back via Barnard Castle needed to recharge once in each direction at Ferrybridge. He wasn't creeping either and was running aircon. Of course its more expensive than a leaf and he gets free charging at work so it works for him. I'll not be encouraging my wife to get one as her next car as they are bloody expensive and you've still got the issue of getting access to a charging point especially at busy times. Whereas you can find a petrol station pretty well anywhere.

Make sure it hasn't got a preservation order on it. My Dad had a huge chestnut removed that was growing into his house wall. Did have a preservation order as apparently it was a rare variety and the hoops he had to go through to prove that it was going to wreck his house (Grade 2 listed) were insane. Main reason he sold up.
