  1. I have always wanted a gear indicator for the ZRX but never found one, with it being such a lovely torquey motor with only 5 gears you are forever hunting for a sixth gear (especially if you are ignoring the speedo and concentrating on having fun). Cheers Ian
  2. Waiting for someone to mention "Boobies" Cheers Ian
  3. I am going to confess that I believe the rear pads in my 2004 ZRX are the ones that were in it when I bought it new. I so rarely use the rear brake that if I want to it has to be a concious decision. Cheers Ian
  4. I am quite liking this storm Eunice! Site shut so service stuff on the girls complete and just a gentle clean to come and we are all ready for better weather hopefully soon.
  5. Whilst I really like that I can`t help feeling if I was wealthy enough to afford that I would have more than one bike so more than one vault would be needed and so on ! Cheers Ian
  6. I don`t see why it is out of the question I am sure @Six30 was saying he fancied some touring this year and I am sure he would help get you started ! Cheers Ian
  7. I am local and would say it`s wet and blustery ! Not a fart I would like to have. Cheers Ian
  8. Thanks very much for that they look ideal. Cheers Ian
  9. Does anyone know where I can obtain a few of these little critters? They are the thread recievers on Suzuki fairings ( in this case Hayabusa. Most spares suppliers don't appear to list them and as they are so often used I am sure there is a supplier out there. Cheers Ian
  10. Just in the search for balance the rest of the world is non-norfolkians and can deal with hilly terrain. Cheers Ian
  11. Ask yourself if you could find anyone that was taught lead loading ? I would have thought that as a filling method this would be the best conductive method. I am sure someone will be along with a helpful suggestion soon though. Cheers Ian
  12. At last a comment from someone who genuinely can be described as knowing what he is talking about lol. How are the hives doing @Mississippi Bullfrog? Cheers Ian
  13. Does it work on council planning officers ? Just asking. Cheers Ian
  14. Over the years I have been fortunate to ride more than one LeMans including a very tasty factory tuned Mk2 and they are a very acquired taste to say the least. Coming equipped with one of the hardest narrow seats it has ever been my misfortune to sit on lol. I can only imagine the target audience were very slim and light with no possibility of suffering from the old "Chalfonts"! But oh how I wish I had an original mk1 in the garage. Cheers Ian
  15. I wonder what the cost of that little beauty would be? Cheers Ian
  16. Didn`t @Stu get some handy beard oil dispensers yesterday? Cheers Ian
  17. As mentioned in a previous post I got my junior RAC/ACU pass which would have been about 1975 as I was told in no uncertain terms if I wanted a bike on the road I would need to prove I ha some training. Got a AP50 on my 16th birthday and not off 2 wheels ever since. Did car test about 5 or 6 years after bike test and still prefer 2 wheels.
  18. Done ! Cheers Ian
  19. Let us know if they are as good as you hope? Cheers Ian
  20. I hope you have taken those xmas lights down now? Cheers Ian
  21. Received this morning ! Cheers @dynax and @Stu it will be gracing the office wall from tomorrow (I think @fastbob will be pleased lol. Cheers Ian
  22. If you like Bovril may I suggest you try the French version called Viandox I think it tastes stronger and better which probably means it`s worse for you but hey ho ! Now sometimes seen in British supermarkets. Cheers Ian
  23. Didn`t they make Peugots in Coventry at one time? Probably explains a fair bit. Cheers Ian
  24. You are correct Sir. No idea how it has survived so long lol. Cheers Ian
  25. I think it dates from 1977 and was a parental condition of first bike ownership.
