  1. This is now a myth. My Nissan EV does 180-200 miles on 1 charge. Ok it takes 1hr to a full charge from 20% but this new type of battery would greatly increase the advantage of driving EV's If these batteries start to be fitted on bikes, then you can go 70-100 miles on 1 charge and have a 10min break while charging and continue the trip.
  2. Just emailed Fife council and my local councillor for this. Maybe I can get free cones and a dedicated space for it. Then will let the council do the advertising
  3. Rubbish, you can't ever be too old to do it. Besides, you can make puppy eyes and be a dirty old man
  4. maybe the north 500? It's probably the most famous one. Then you have the north 1000 that covers the 500 plus the east coast.
  5. Shame you're far, we could practice together worth contacting traffic management companies for cheaper old cones they don't use anymore. If you do your best puppy eyes maybe they will give them for free

  8. DON'T READ IF YOU GET EASILY OFFENDED!!! At the gynaecologist Mother, desperate asks the doctor: - What happened to my daughter? - Your daughter have her clitoris identical to a lid of a bic roller pen! - Blue, doctor? - No, all chewed up.
  9. Primary school teacher asks pupils to describe their school. Little Charlie wrote: "Our school is small but very tidy. Our school is like a beautiful garden. we the pupils, are little flowers and our teacher is a big pile of manure that makes us grow beautiful and strong."
  10. A former colleague of mine got himself a small metal garage. Just needed a small concrete base, some bolts to anchor it down and problem solved. It is just enough for the bike and some gear and according to him it is perfect. He even managed to get a power cable into it. 16. Clear it is. You're a @Stu
  17. I'm not saying that we shouldn't make sure the screen is properly protected. I intend to get one myself. Just stating what Garmin says on their website Still to decide if will be anti-glare or just normal clear one. some people saying that anti-glare film makes it look like dusty screen. Then will need a oleophobic liquid to prevent smudges and fingerprints.
  18. Same as fitting LED headlights you will replace them with normal halogen before you go to MOT. Just making sure people are aware of this before anything goes pear shape.
  19. Well.. That looks anything but genuine leather but £25 is good enough for plastic hard case Oddly enough, Garmin says they advise against screen protector Using a Third Party Screen Protector with the zumo XT Third-party screen protectors may cause touchscreen issues when it is raining. The zumo XT screen was calibrated to be sensitive to work with gloves and was not tested to work with screen protectors. Also, it is hidden in the warranty T&C that using a screen protector will affect the warranty. Adding a screen protector or a anti-glare film is identified as an alteration to the device and the warranty will be void.
  20. Have you check Seagate website for tools that could help recovering the drive? I had a similar issue with my WD cloud drive and they sent me a recovery tool. Managed to recover most data. Doesn't hurt to contact them for assistance.
  21. If it is a cloud device (plugged to your router) you will need to check the IP address through the router unless you can get access to it via your network. If the device have a shared folder then you will be able to find it in the network. disk management is for local drives not cloud ones so it won't show there unless is via USB. by login into your router you will be able to se the device IP and then you can try to login into it.
  22. Check the IP address. Try connecting via USB.
  23. Very good morning guys
  24. This is not an original idea. I remember seeing in the newspapers a similar scheme down in Ipswich where people would trade on tasks instead of money. The problem come to light because inland revenue wasn't happy that with this method there are no tax to be paid Now, we all know how tax man loves our taxes...
