  1. The metal bit is a screwdriver while the 2 pots are the vacuum balancing hoses. That is for syncing the carbs on my shadow
  2. It is to be used with this other one
  3. Twat
  4. I wonder if anyone can guess what this is. Clues: Handmade, specific to one purpose I'll give the answer later
  5. As promised here I am bragging about my new satnav carrier pouch Reinforced front so the screen is protected. As all other leather products I've made is hand stitched looks like that and is perfect for what I need
  6. These are probably the most well known. I use them on my fabric trousers. I know ebay have larger bottles for better value. https://www.trespass.com/nikwax-tx-direct-wash-in-300ml#color_code=Not+Applicable For leather I use my own homemade product. Beewax, olive oil and castor oil. usually on a 1:2:1 parts, changing the olive oil will either make it more fluid or thicker.
  7. One thing you may want to do after washing is to add some waterproofing agent. Outdoor shops usually have them, you can either add it to the wash (normally quick wash replacing the detergent with waterproofing. There are some sprays but I would stay away from it as it doesn't soak as well as the normal one.
  8. I would consider some city/country stickers for my trailer.. but. 1 - I don't give a f@ck about it 2 - I can't be bothered 3 - Why do people do free advertising for others?
  9. Have a leather jacket since 1991, stopped using it because for some odd reason it has shrunk around the waist Got another second hand one from a lady that after kicking the blok out decided to sell all the guy's gear. have it since 2010 and was around 7 yrs when I got it. Both still in perfect condition. Take care of your leathers and they will take care of you.
  10. One thing you can do that is perfectly legal is to leave the normal halogen bulbs and install some aux headlights, they won't be MOT'd.
  11. I've started a wee leather pouch for my new Zumo. will post some pics to brag about it and make people jealous when it gets to shape
  12. Some people love how they sound... Comes with age.
  13. I bet you spend more than that watching emmerdale
  14. A clip everybody should watch.
  15. So if you want LED's (the ones complying with EU and BS standards) you will have to refit original ones before the MOT. question.. What happens when they stop or never manufactured headlamp casings for bikes dedicated to LED or HID? What will happen when they stop making halogen bulbs? Personally I don't really like LED light, have it on my EV but they are to white for my taste. And I can't be bothered with changing the bulbs every year just to make it through. It will be another money making for garages replacing bulbs that they will fail on purpose. Note that I would agree with this rule if it would say that the reason to fail would be a non compliance with the standards. too many idiots fitting idiotic bulbs without knowing what they are doing..
  16. Whatever you do, don't ask this guy.
  17. Try these guys. Got the trailer plate from them and it a very decent plate. Nothing fancy but can't argue with £10.. https://www.onestopnumberplates.co.uk/
  18. Yeah, but that's no fun. These guys have the craziest videos I have seen. The worse is that some even work
  19. CB radios forums could also be a good place to look. They all like their soldering irons
  20. It could be the perfect excuse to go to the isle of man
  21. You probably be better off just buying a new board then. time spent just looking for the fault will likely be more than just getting a new one. It's worth repairing if you live in India or one of those countries where people get paid $1.5 a day
  22. You will need a photo of the printed circuit too. To look for eventual burnt sections that could be diverting power the wrong way. check the capacitors (the fat things marked with a number followed by the one legged uF) like the blue 680 uF on the bottom left corner if their shape is not entirely cylindrical they will be damaged and have short circuit, they will need replaced.
  23. There are millions of different videos on youtube about the subject. I think the guy with the most uploads is the "ride like a pro" american fella. I found this one to be detailed with very interesting tips at the end. As obvious, this clip is dedicated to those who are starting or if you never get around perfecting your U-turn technique. A final note, practice makes perfect and you can never overpractice
  24. Now, that's a very easy to care for garden
