1. Me My car is due its mot in a few weeks and the front right wheel has been squeaking for some time Jacked car up and had a look under to make sure it was bearing and not cv joint (I know its usually clicking from cv rather than grinding but thought I'd double check) Not CV so ordered new hub for £35 (they come as an all in one unit, hub, bearing, abs sensor) and proceeded to fit it when it came. Noticed when I was removing old hub that there was a metal shield that was bent and would of been rubbing on the brake disc causing the grinding noise Confirmed this by bending it out of the way, refitting wheel and no noise I decided to fit the new one anyway ( yes I know you should do in pairs but as this is an a to b car that does barely any miles I thought might as well) as I had everything ready to come off. Fitted and all was fine, started engine and abs light came on. double checked all connections, light still on . Took whole hub out, cleaned up sensor ring (not that it was dirty being brand new) made sure it was all fitted in correctly and in right position, rechecked wiring plugs again and started car, still the light was on I even got out my OBDII reader thinking it might be a code that needed clearing but no codes were showing Came to decision that I'd have to play with it another day as it was getting late. Went for a quick drive around the block to make sure all sounded nice, got about a minute from my house and the light went off!! As I have since found out, after fitting a new hub you usually need to drive a bit before the car registers a reading Lesson learned
2. This came up on my facebook the other day. Hoping it ends the way I'm wanting it to
3. MarkW I genuinely did not know that and have thought all my life that bumblebees had a barbed stinger and would die after stinging you. I'm guessing they are still pretty passive as opposed to wasps though
4. There used to be a pretty good show called Bikes Aloud back in the early 2000's. I'm one of the few in this country who doesnt mind Henry Cole so I'll watch his shows In general this country doesn't do anything to promote biking in my opinion. You never see any tv ad's or billboards for the latest bikes for example. Plus getting a license (especially for the under 24's) is a lot more complex than necessary, especially in comparison to a car license.
5. No video shows for me but I have a lot of adblocking, flash disabled script killing type things running
6. Here is a picture of the tyre in the link Smithers posted. I'd probably give them a go. It seems i'm forever dealing with slow punctures on my vehicles
7. I'll be working Hope plenty come and you have a great time though

sorry Bender the mob has spoken, best if you just leave quietly
9. Any dot-4 will be fine. I didn't know they even had special motorbike only brake fluid. When it comes to oil you just need to look out for friction modifiers. These are what cause the slippage in wet clutches on bikes. Regular Castrol GTX is absolutely fine but keep away from Castrol Magnatec
10. Please tell me you're not riding like that I did for a couple of days until the new cable came Only about a 3 mile round trip to work and back
11. I have been mocked for some of my repairs if that counts Clutch cable snapped so this was my solution until I got a new one p.s. and all done with things I carried in the bikes tool kit
12. Out of curiosity how do you feel when doing the CBT? I know its not a test as such but it is a similar environment. Having to redo and payout +£80 every 2 years would be motivation to pass my test Do what works for you though. It's all that matters in the end
13. what megawatt said. I had it the other way round and had removed my seat and left the pegs. Tester said If the seat wasn't there it couldn't have pegs on.

Diesel........

It'll be fine I used to work in a petrol station and loved it when this happened as the guy that came out used to give a tenner to whoever was working on the till to encourage us to get customers to ring them
15. BIKERDAD how dare you! she only drinks out of the tap its me that pisses in the sink
16. I have enjoyed this season but definitely felt it was all too rushed. Should of kept it to the usual 10 episodes. Anyway these are my favourite ending memes so far
17. Poor ghost. A wolf is for life not just for winter
18. Did anyone else catch the starbucks cup on the table next to Daenerys? Middle of the Caribbean sea and I still managed to download the latest episode to watch. Got to love modern technology
19. Too late now but liberally coating your hands and arms with talcum powder is the best way to stop the fibreglass from getting in your pores and itching Was told by a loft insulation installer to do this. He used to coat himself in it before putting his overalls on
20. Just read a theory that the night king isn't actually dead but that he warged into Bran before Arya stabbed him
21. Sounds like a crank seal or gasket has failed somewhere
22. I was sad to see Jorah go. He's been there since the beginning and was one of my favourites. Perhaps thats the reason they didn't kill of so many and major characters seemed to have teflon armour as gin put it. The main ones that are left have been with us a long time now and "deserve" a more memorable death if they are going to go rather than just cut down by swarths of the dead. It would be more realistic but not as satisfying.
