1. I haven't been a fan of insurance companies after the time my bike was stolen. I informed the police and insurance companies immediately. then went for a walk around town, mainly in all the shithole estate areas Two hours later I had found my bike leant up behind someones house (A communal walkway going through the back of the whole street) nothing to do with the house it was at I assumed when a little old granny opened the door after I brayed on it They had tried the screwdriver trick on the ignition and when that didnt work it looks like they tried cutting and twisting together different wires to try and start it up. Lucky they didnt knack the ECU Anyway long story short I pushed it home (up hill!!) and rang police & insurance up to say I had found it, cancel claims etc. Fast forward to renewal and they had whacked premium up almost quadruple what it was before as I had made a claim. Didn't matter that nothing was paid out according to guy I spoke to, as soon as I rang them up to report it was stolen then that counts as a claim apparently whether they pay out or not
2. I think I should be disqualified from playing I wont give it away but will say I used to love going bowling
3. Had a painful couple of hours in the garage this afternoon To be expected I guess but its still not fun!! Can't decide whether or not to reuse this chain And some good news in that my box of bits turned up
4. My bosses mother owns an apartment in Portugal (not sure where) and every year their whole family spend a couple of weeks each on holiday there. The Daughter at the time was engaged to a Spanish guy who went with her pretty much against his will as he knew exactly what was in store for him
5. Same with any country I suppose. I can only imagine what tourists over here would think after visiting Bradford I had a crap experience with Rome. Straight off the termini to be confronted with a prostitute taking a piss behind a car and 30 seconds later watching a drug deal happen on the pavement in front of me The historic buildings and monuments were nice though
6. Six30 I said it wasn't for sale so you decided to nick it anyway ? and then crash it into a fuc............... oh wait, its still in my back garden, never mind

12. Wifes got hold of tv at moment and its fairly obvious what she's watching
13. I'll leave it I think until I get the dot4. Still plenty to be getting on with anyway. Its funny the little repairs and things I have done to this bike that I have completely forgotten about until I come across them again now. For instance I was taking apart the handlebars as they need a good clean up and rust spots removing when I couldn't no matter what I tried remove the left hand rubber grip Then I remembered that it used to be far too loose so I fixed it into place with a ton of strong superglue The cable threads on the clutch lever have a helicoil in them as well which I barely remember doing
14. I wasn't going to spoil it and let someone else guess
15. Heres the same supermarket from a different angle
16. I'm probably going to get shot down in flames for asking this but please hear me out The piston is completely seized in the caliper (as to be expected) and not having the tools to remove I decided to remount it and use the brake system to push it out. I then discover I have no dot4 lying around in the garage and what used to be in the cylinder is a dried up puddle on the floor Now what I do have is 2 litres of mineral oil based brake fluid I use for my mountain bike. I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW!!!!! Its not safe for regular use as it ruins the seals etc. but just to use to get piston out seems ok. I'll be replacing the rings anyway and will remove diaphragm from the reservoir so only thing I'm bothered about is the hose being affected. Or should I just wait until my bottle of dot4 arrives next week? (only place local that is open and sells it is an M&S garage that was charging £8 for a 250ml bottle )
17. No but that's actually pretty close!!
18. Happy Birthday XTreme
19. I'm bored so here's another
20. Just bought this box of bolts and caps covers etc off of a breaking bike on eBay for £10 Main bit I'm happy to see in there is the Generator cover plug as mine is completely rounded off (made doing valve clearances a real pain in the arse!) I have never been able to source one outside of silly money Other bits will come in useful as some of it looks in better condition than whats on the bike at moment
21. It was so bad he emigrated to get away from it
22. JackieOWheels I'm slightly more optimistic for that one but we'll see!
23. Original Cape Fear is on my list too! remake is one of my favourites. I also like the remake of taking pelham 13 with denzel washington so I'm going to try original at some point too. By and Large remakes are shit but now and then something good gets done I flat out will not watch the Ghostbusters reboot they made a few years back
