  5. oh I miss the like button so much
  6. strip the carb and spray some carb cleaner through all the jets. They are tiny pin hole openings on the jets so it really doesn't take much to block them.

    New Top Gear

  8. Pull the plugs and have a look at them, if they are bone dry It will probably be a fuelling issue like EAB said. If they are wet then it could be you aren't getting a spark. take them out and ground them against the engine, start bike up and look for a spark. Try all the easy solutions first before stripping everything down
  9. Have you tried new spark plugs? Easiest way to loosen seized engine I know is to take the spark plugs out, put a few drops of oil down the cylinders. let it soak in for a while then rock the bike back and forth whilst in gear to try and free it or just strip the engine and you'll soon see if its seized
  10. I do like a blonde joke
  11. thank god the rally isn't this weekend or all the bloody Brexit talk would of gotten so heated the mods would of needed to get out their ban hammers!! In other news my costume is ready
  12. whoever keeps changing my signature
  13. I love that!! absolutely love it!!
  14. good idea to me
  15. Phil: JB Weld is what I would of recommended but I couldn't remember its name and couldnt be arsed googling
  16. I wouldn't worry too much but its probably best to leave the downpipe on now before it gets messed up any further I would buy some hi temp metal expoxy and try and fill the crack with that. Or take it to a garage for a weld if you are really concerned
  17. the bring a pen thing really makes me laugh, there would be easier ways to alter the count without resorting to rubbing out tens of thousands of votes with an eraser while being watched by statutory observers and any members of the public who decide to come watch
  18. just saw this bit. I don't mind at all taking them, if they can cope with my driving
  19. Yep that bike is staying in my garage until I get round to cleaning it up and selling it on to fund license/big bike. Surely you would rather throw a nice chinese bike in the river instead?
  20. this deserves an upvote or a like if it were possible
  21. me and my big bloody mouth!!
  22. Happy Birthday!! I'll buy you a drink at the rally if your old eyes can still manage to read this!

  25. I would of been fuming!! Not a bad experience as such but potential nightmare happened to me last year. I took my Wifes old megane to be mot'd with plan being I would have it providing it didn't need much doing. Fast forward a few hours and the owner rang me up to say that unfortunately the handbrake had failed before they even got round to testing the car and it had rolled forward into another customers car luckily it only travelled a few feet and left a couple of marks that their bodywork guy got rid of. Lesson learned I always leave my car in gear now, always!!
