  1. My birthday is coming up and I've decided for my present I'd like a camera ( Mrs tiggie can't think of anything to get me so gave up and said I could choose!!) Not looking to spend loads as it will be my first DSLR so I'm looking at +10 year old entry level including a lense with a ceiling of £200 I've seen plenty of canon 450d's going for approx £150 with an 18-55mm lens which look quite acceptable and I'm gutted as I missed out on a Nikon d90 (without lens) on eBay which sold for £130 and it only had 8000 shots taken Any suggestions on what to look for are welcome. I'm not planning on shooting sports, probably more landscapes, squirrels in trees etc.
  2. I remember getting overtook once when I had L plates even though I was already going 10mph over the speed limit for that road!!
  3. Sat in garden in glorious sunshine. Already had a BBQ and a beer

    E10 fuel

Super unleaded will be staying E5 so if anyone is ever unsure or worried you can always stick that in instead

    E10 fuel

It should be ok according to the owners manual https://www.manualslib.com/products/Suzuki-Dr-Z400s-2000-5887573.html
  6. There's a website that covers West Yorkshire http://www.safetycameraswestyorkshire.co.uk/ I'd assume there are others for different areas. I believe you are right @geofferz and they have to publish it somewhere but I may be wrong
  7. Just saw a nastily placed speed camera on my way back from the lakes. Its on the A65 Directly after the road goes from a dual to a single carriage way. Bet it's caught loads as they slow down after coming off the dual
  8. Same here. Got back from camping Friday night and just spent yesterday doing sod all, no energy for anything productive. Worryingly I still cant be arsed moving even now
  9. I may well start as it came off surprisingly quickly with some tin snips
  10. Ordered a bottle of Jura on my Asda shopping delivery
  11. this is why I give whatever vehicle I'm getting tested a good clean. Especially with a car I like to give the engine and bay area a good wipe down, cleaning all the fluid reservoirs etc so everything is nice and easy to see. The aim being to make it as nice and easy for the tester to do his job as possible so he doesn't get wound up at the state of it and think I'm definitely failing this twat
  12. @Six30 absolutely agree. Just pointing out its strange how its illegal to ride without one but doesnt get checked on mot. I'd be sorting it before mot if at all possible as its bound to make the tester get extra nosey
  13. Front Mudguard is a strange one. Not part of an MOT so it won't be checked however it is illegal to ride without one
  14. Yep. My boss has just put their old kitchen units and countertops on Facebook for sale. Had one person assuming that the light fitting shown in the photo would be part of the sale and another who expected it to come with full printed instructions on how to install
  15. This won't be everyone's cup of tea but if you want to see some incredible Keyboard playing check this band out. Skip to approx 4:15 for the Keyboard solo. The Guitar player and Drummer are fantastic too
  16. Shame Honda stopped making them. Was a lovely bike that had a lot of road presense for a 125cc due to its size.
  17. @Stu Might be best to get someone other than yourself to have some input or it will probably end up looking like this
  18. Somewhere between the Pacific & Indian Ocean most of the time I believe
  19. Be extra careful riding inside petrol stations. Diesel spillages are not fun and you are guaranteed to come across them in these places
  20. Welcome to the forum If someone wants to get it they will. All you can do is secure it as best you can. Alarms, disc locks etc. Always try and make sure it's chained to something secure so it can't be lifted and make sure the chain is not loose and is kept tight against bike to make it harder for bolt croppers to be used.
  21. @rennie Feeling that way with my job. I still like the work but I have missed an uncountable amount of family events over last few years as they always plan them on Friday or Saturday nights when normal people aren't working
  22. My Wifes car has one of these. Drove me mad when went on holiday to Cornwall and I didnt even drive!! It has collision sensors on all sides as well so just feels to be constantly beeping at you
  23. We still have a set of working stocks in Bingley Could do with being brought back into service
  24. You're lucky! I got an email from someone saying if I didn't transfer $2000 in bitcoins within the next week they would mail all my browsing history to my business contacts
