I love my coffee machine. Have it set on a timer to make me a coffee 5 minutes after my alarm goes off I also have an aeropress at work ( bit like a cafetiere that uses a paper filter) I've become a bit of a coffee snob as I've got older!!

Not small kids, two 16 year olds at work a few weeks ago. 1st one says to me: how long for the battered sausage? Me: a couple of minutes 2nd one: what does that mean? Me: a couple of minutes, TWO minutes 1st one: oh, so does a couple mean two? Probably wrong thread, I should of put it in knob(s) of the day!!

I once pulled out on a car at a roundabout. I think what happened was the car was silver and blended into the grey sky in the background and obviously I didn't look close enough or pay enough attention. No collision or anything, just hard breaking by the driver and a lot of horn beeping and hand gestures which I deserved

My boss has a couple of apartments he rents out. A few weeks ago he called in at one of them. He noticed there was a load of furniture and kitchen appliances packed into one of the bedrooms. He asked the lady renting it what it all was and she eventually came clean and said she had moved a work colleague in to help him out. She then said she didn't want him in the apartment any more but was scared to tell him to go!! My boss was not impressed with the situation and said he would tell him to leave but obviously wasn't happy she had moved someone in to his building without informing him! He met the man and was gracious enough to give him a week to get his things out. The man's response was to say he had looked into his tenants rights and he had to be given 28 days!! My bosses response was " you are not my bloody tenant so get your things and get out!!!"

Whoever does the quality control for the dried peas we use at the shop You expect to find the odd stone in a sack, would be strange not to. This however is taking the piss!! Not to mention the steel nut! Heads will be rolling tomorrow I'm sure

While on subject of garages I was informed if you have an internal garage and your bike/car gets stolen from it you may have issues with your home insurance and vehicle insurance arguing about who will pay out No idea how true that is but sounds very believable!!
