  1. I feel your pain, l don't know that particular junction but as someone who drove HGV's for many years all over the country, l can tell you that there are hundreds of similar junctions, either poorly marked or the lanes just didn't work. When approaching any of these you just have to be super weary and expect swervers. I like the shopping story, l bet they did go back and have another look. Managing to stay calm in these situations can be difficult but so worth it afterwards.
  2. Not sure what you really mean there. The kids have always been around music and we took them to enough festivals and the like. Guitars and keyboard etc in the house, they listen to whatever they like. I actively encourage them to listen through the better amp and speakers to get a fuller sound. I've made my peace with digital storage.
  3. Guilty. The kids pipe there music from phones through bluetooth tinny speakers, the convenience is better I'll give them that but the sound is rubbish. Spotify etc is the future but that doesn't stop me living in the past.
  4. Looks good without the panniers..
  5. Hi , Search lexmoto Apollo manual. Chinesemotorcyclepartsonline.co.uk has pictures and prices.
  6. Hi, as a tool to get your bike seen by many, I used to use Ebay but be very careful of the fees they charge now. You could advertise the bike and withdraw it before the sale ended to avoid the fees. Been a while since I sold anything on there though, be weary. Also for a fixed price Autotrader was good for cars, Biketrader for the bikes. Never used mcn classified so don't know about that one. Part ex no good to you?
  7. If l was a betting man I'd go coolant (water) everytime..
  8. TOTY?
  9. I bought myself a new Dainese leather jacket a coupe of years ago. So much snugger than the textiles I had been wearing and warmer with the inner liner that came with it. Without the liner I have not found it sweaty at all in the summer. Best thing I have bought for a while. Prefer textile bottoms in winter and jeans in the summer, leather would be too much then. By the time you read this I guess you will have gone out, hope you had a great ride and have a better idea of what you want to wear.
  10. What did you do? go through just eat until you found the place you wanted?
  11. That's a bummer..l like to hear a good old click when putting stuff like seats back on. I bet it bounced well, it could be anywhere
  12. Hi, did you manage to change the air filter?
  13. They are and do..
  14. Ha haar that made me smile.. l used to play pool 20 years ago in the local Lincoln league. A great night out and a few shiny plastic trophies. Over Christmas when my youngest came back from uni he said he'd taken up the game. Brilliant says l let's go down the club and have a game. Absolutely useless can't see a thing! My specs throw everything off straight and without them it's a bit of a blur...
  15. I find signing on to dealers mailing lists and putting things in your basket can sometimes yield discounts. Search engines seem to magically put things in my feed when I start looking for stuff. But as above the cheapest time to get winter gear is in the summer
  16. Makes you wonder what chemicals were used..does me anyway..
  17. Yeah as above, just keep pressing and holding, pressing two together etc, there must be a way. The op said he had it mph before it switched.
  18. Yeah as above, maybe find out what it should be doing 1st, that maybe the way it works..
  19. good video, I like that with the chaos the next couple of days will bring.. Got to be multiple jumps for the multiple costume changes though..
  20. As someone who spent many years chugging around the country driving HGV's, I often have a look at places that come up in stories like this one, you know, where is it and have I been there. Anyway having a look at this place on google maps and there is a bike parked outside a house. I wonder if it is the one they tried to nick, I wonder what it was/is. Re the guns, makes you wonder if they were gang related. https://maps.app.goo.gl/fJwyQoa76ueWduvA9
  21. Hi, yes, if you have 80mm worth of slack and the manufacturer recommends 55-60mm you will only need to tighten it very slightly. If you think it is tight enough then run with it as is.
  22. Snap, I'll probably be the lowest score setter but great motivation to go... errr somewhere..
  23. Not sure if you watch 'bike world' they did a thing with parallel twins recently. The Hornet wasn't on that either, too many parallel twins out there
  24. Sounds like my wife. I enjoy culture also, I think it's just people and crowds I try to avoid. I'm happiest in the countryside.
