fastbob Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Is it alright to state publicly that I don't like Ed Sheeran or would it be safer not to mention the subject at all ? Was I somewhere else when the whole world was seemingly brainwashed ? I'm confused . Quote
Westbeef Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Whilst I’m not a fan, he’s an extremely talented individual and obviously alright at what he does . Quote
Gerontious Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 If like Ed Sheeran I was worth 45 million I would'nt care if sone people didn't like me Quote

Mr Fro Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 If like Ed Sheeran I was worth 45 million I would'nt care if sone people didn't like me I'd be too busy doing expensive stuff and shagging as many groupies as possible before my fame faded.I'm indifferent to his music - not really my kind of thing but then I'm not trendy. SlowBusa Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 (edited) I have to say this though Ed Shearen has improved over the yearsHere was his first attempt at a hit single"> DAMN IT !! Now I have that stuck in my head! Edited March 27, 2018 by SlowBusa Quote
MR_W Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 His music does naff all for me, just uninspiring. I can't get what all the fuss is about. At least he doesn't talk live a chav like Adele tho. Quote
Via Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 He's done great work, can't remember anyone doing so much to show that showed gingers can be famous as well, not since Ron Weasley. Quote
The Hitcher Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 He writes catchy, cheesy pop songs that appeal to loads of people, his music doesn’t appeal to me but good luck to him, not very impressed with his guitar playing though. Quote
Six30 Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Beware the Ginger... Every freckle is a soul he's stolen. Quote
fastbob Posted March 27, 2018 Author Posted March 27, 2018 Thanks for all the replies , I brought this up because I casually happened to mention that I was less than impressed by the artist in question whilst eating my lunch in the office canteen. I was rounded upon by a surprisingly broad cross section of my colleagues with such ferocity that I was quite taken aback . Just because I described him as a " Beady eyed, pasty faced , warbling , ginger gnome " doesn't mean that I actually hate the little chap . In fact I was merely painting a picture in words for the benefit of those who hadn't heard of him . Unfortunately everyone present had bought into this media phenomenon big time which left me feeling as if I had walked into a Catholic Church and denounced his Holiness' the Pope . Quote
rennie Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 I'm not a massive fan but he's ok! I think I played 1 of his at last year's rally Quote
Hoggs Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 I love pop - but full fat cheesy pop like.. say the backstreet boys. Ed Sheran is like a vegan cheese that pretentious people like but I think tastes like feet Quote
fastbob Posted March 27, 2018 Author Posted March 27, 2018 Total dross.Same as Adele. Shhh ! Keep it to yourself, he is all powerful. He has eyes and ears everywhere. His disciples will come for you in the night . Quote
The Hitcher Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Ok, I admit, during his Game of Thrones cameo, I was kind of hoping he would have a confrontation with one of the dragons. Quote
fastbob Posted March 27, 2018 Author Posted March 27, 2018 Ok, I admit, during his Game of Thrones cameo, I was kind of hoping he would have a confrontation with one of the dragons. As described earlier, I had a confrontation with several dragons at work simply for voicing my opinion on the Sheeran phenomenon. So what's this Game of Thrones thing then ? I suppose its on one of those telly channels that you have to pay for isn't it ? It probably clashes with How its Made anyway. Quote
Hoggs Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 How it's made is one of the greatest TV shows ever Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 I thought Ed Sheeran was a footballer? Not that I'm really into football. He can't be a musician because they stopped making music when the 70's came to an end. Quote
Ricky Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 Never understood hatred towards a type of music, music is so diverse there’s something for everyone, if you don’t like it, don’t listen to it? Quote
