Sun is shining, so off to Hoar park for brekkie & a look at what bikes turn up.

Went last week and the bike got filthy as someone has nicked the bridge over the A45 and I ended up going down some single track roads. I’ve planned a better route for today.

Nice turn out, here’s a few bikes that got my attention:

You are indeed correct Froggy, and the one on the right is a 125cc not a 500.

I’ll have a quiet word with myself later 😬

Another great cafe tried out - Glebe Farm on the outskirts of Congleton so handy for trips into the Peak District. Their black pudding in the Full English is superb. It was heaving today being half term but the staff were great and found us a table pretty quickly.

I'm watching this presently on amazon prime if anyone has it. Well worth a watch dubbed as its in German but no real issue. I like it as it's not some celebrity talking about themself more about the journey.

Watched this over the weekend, very good bit like Long way round without the celebs.

What surprised me was they wore full textile jackets , trousers, heavy boots and helmets but no gloves except when they were high up in the mountains.

Might give that a go next.

I'm just finishing Reacher (also on prime)  Its based on the Jack Reacher novels. The guy cast as Reacher is very believable in the role compared to the films with Tom Cruise

I did enjoy the Cruise version but having been a fan of the books it's hard to see him playing a 6ft 5"  built like a tank, hard as nails, ex military Cop

The actor playing Reacher (Not Tom!! )  would make a great choice as a replacement for Arnie in the Terminator films.
