Good morning :thumb:

Was going to go to East Kirby bike night tonight but doubt I will be able to make it.

Plotted return from Munich- Sunday a thrash up the autobahn to Trier where I'll overnight then interesting ride through the Ardennes to Namur in Belgium for another night then thrash to Calais for the return shuttle on the 23rd then on to home. Just found out that my presence is required in Northumberland on the 24th so another thrash north. May get to chill in Barnard Castle for a few days afterwards although I am told my grandsons have plans involving fishing and camping so maybe not too much chilling other than falling in to lake.

I agree but the traffic gets very bad on a Saturday morning up there.

Good afternoon!

Busy week coming up. I interview at my company for the role of principle engineer, and I have more experienced competition, but I think it will help me get my foot in the door.

Birthday next week, looking after the dog while parents are away, and then fast approaching my holiday to Florida with the girlfriend. Need the two weeks off, haven’t had that much time off in 7 years

Good luck with the job interview! Wracking I know but somehow also stimulating.

Thank you!

I’m hoping that at the very least, it gets me bumped up to lead engineer, principle is a sideways step from there anyway.

The principle position appeals as it looks more hands on, costing jobs, and developing the solution, which is always the bit I enjoy. I usually do well at interviews so hopefully can at least make an impression on the big bosses!
