We've just been talking on the phone with Sue's Sister in Diss (Norfolk)

pretty bad flooding around there! power cuts! water off etc.etc.

I hope @goat is ok😲

Yeah we're fine 👍. Lots of roads flooded. Biblical rain Wednesday night and more forecast tonight. Thankfully we're on a hill (well a Norfolk hill anyway).

@Stu a few months ago you suggested using a timer on my compressor to stop it firing up through night.

I've finally got round to it :classic_blush:

You leave it running all the time? I always turn mine off when it's not being used. Is there a reason to leave it on?

The compressor itself is in my garage and I have run a hose out to my shed where I actually do stuff. Gets annoying walking round to switch it on and off

I have to put this forward for next years MOTY.

Has anyone else noticed @fastbob has magical powers? I’m certain every time I see this his bikes levitating!

Definitely does seem to have magical powers....lifting a 30 ton piece of agricultural machinery by thought power alone is magical

Looks pretty earthbound to me . I did go fully airborne on a GS850 once when I took a canal bridge far too quickly .

I don`t like leaving compressors full let alone constantly turned on, too much like having a bomb hiding in the garage.

Less dangerous than having a bottle of gas in there 🤔

Fair comment but in reality both are dodgy.

My gas bottles would to live in an old  toolsafe that I found on site recently at bottom of garden.

A full compressor just makes me nervous especially as mine was secondhand (ex hire company) and I don`t know how often previous owner drained the excess water out lol.

Cheers

Ian
