Bio diesel conversion

I get about 80mpg from my Bullet 350 but I do still get concerned about emissions and burning fossil fuels, has anyone here got any experience of biodiesel conversions, there is one that uses a marine Diesel engine but I don’t want to drop the performance I currently have which suits my needs, perhaps a small turbo would make a good addition and get it back up to the 20hp I’m looking for?

Given diesels are in many ways more polluting than petrol engines perhaps you may want to rethink this idea? Alternatively if you are that concerned maybe just get a pedal bike instead?

I once work on a site that the water pumps made the same noise. 🙄

Biodiesel is less of a pollutant than petrodeisel. I do cycle a lot as well but I travel further afield in my work as a tantric massage therapist.

The one with the Kholer diesel with turbo looks good, I wonder how much power it produces.

Seriously, if you're worried about emissions at 80mpg you'd need to do galactic mileages to offset the conversion. If you're that concerned go electric.

That’s actually quite a good suggestion, thank you, I would need about a hundred mile range, I will have to do some research, the added bonus is of course the lack of noise which benefit both the throat and sacral chakras.

I appreciate that the limited understanding that comes from being educated by tabloid media may lead you to associate “tantric” only to “sex”, tantric massage is a method of releasing all the tensions of the body by moving the energy of the body all around and so bringing balance, it is not about achieving orgasm. The couples and individuals I work with learn to give of themselves to their partners who are often lovers of course.
A by product is of course more fulfilling sex, where your current three minutes can be extended to three hours or considerably more. Only advisable for more advanced practitioners of course as the body must first be conditioned.

@geofferz territory on the tantric subject.

although I am sure there are many on here happy to get there 3 minutes a week and spend the other 8 h 57 minutes or on the motorbike.  Tend to lead to a more harmonious relationship 🤣😂🤣

As for MPG 80 is bloody good for a bike.  If you want to make significant savings compromising Hp might be the way to go.

Geofferz is currently back in the uk! Gonna buy a house then either live in it or rent it out and go back to Turkey. Gonna ride the hell out of my gixxer first regardless.

Day 2 of 10 days quarantine complete.

You know what it never even crossed my mind about a body conditioner, I mean I use a hair and fabric conditioner, I will have to have a look and see if Sainsbury's do one other supermarkets are available, can you recommend any particular brand, mind you I could always ask one of the girls on the shop floor which one would be best for a tantric massage, cheers mate :thumb:

Well in theory, it's entirely possible to convert a petrol engine to diesel.

"All you need to do" is bonk up the compression, fiddle the ECU, adapt the throttle body, work the cam a bit and up the final drive ratio. A turbo would be good too.

I've seen a chopper with a generator engine in it. It worked well as it had a discrete belt driven gearbox rather than an integral unit those of us in the modern world are used to.
