    Mod review

I like the experience that @rennie shows his maturity shines through. The newbies just show there Inexperience.. As for that @Stu he does make them look good...
  2. After this forum upgrade that could be anywhere some of us are wondering round the interweb playing virtual pin the tail on the donkey
  3. As @husoi said regarding money. Although it can take time off you paid by pay Pal. I guess you are the latest bad reviewer on trustpilot. https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.auctmarts.com Reading other reviews it sounds like they normally deliver is just s matter of when. I have no issues ordering from Far East however I do not expect urgent delivery or top quality. I normally choose PayPal and Alibaba / banggood/ Join/ eBay shop if available as it this wrong I normally I get my money back, eventually.
  4. That might have more truth than I would like to admit, when you see that I have found.... I have found something that would do (no hip or knee armour), its a matter of finding the right search term... However, I don't think they are quite my style (womens logic)... https://uk.vikingcycle.com/collections/mens-leather-motorcycle-chaps/products/viking-cycle-plain-motorcycle-leather-chaps Search term used "Mens Chaps" just be careful some search results may not be safe for work....
  5. These are not as work trousers.. they are to go over trousers to keep me dry and give protection incase of an off on way to work... Presently I wear work uniform trousers which don't offer much protection. I don't ride to work in rain and cannot take long way home. Used a "suitably" deliberately a grey expression as it depends upon how useable they are..
  6. I am looking for a affordable set of trousers with knee hip & armour that are vaguely waterproof... However I want s set you can put on quickly & easily, without removing your boots... Strange request I know but it's for practical commuter reasons. Any suggestions?
  7. Didn't @Stu live in Hull? Or Great Grimsby? There are plenty of reasons you don't need those for outsiders there...

An easy test for you.. If you have another battery try it with jump leads to other battery.. If other battery is in vehicle do not leave that vehicle running. If bike starts normally and runs ok on jump leads, it's probably the battery. If same problem exists its probably not the battery.
  9. @Six30 and or @XTreme would then of course start fighting to become MOTY by trying to set up rival forums. OF course no one would join as one would stink of have book shelves and stink of Mahogany and the server would be in @rennie wardrobe so the data would scrambled. The other would appeal too train spotters and never allow comments about rain, it would also be set up Manyana after the siester.... I was trying to edit to ad this then it said I coud not guess it was cause you commented @Stu...
  10. I am sure you will loose some members who will struggle with all this new stuff, some initially then some who don't adjust there viewing habits. As well as some non active member. So your Flounce count is putting @Six30 to shame Next you will be doing a runner with the forum donations and keeping the TOTY as lifetime achievement award...
  11. OMG Know he didn't did he that sounds really serious... Is this going to result in al our mail box's being Spammed by Stu? Is he going to create a self inflicted DoS or going back further a BoA? Really never thought a Forum Admin/ Owner was going to achieve most flounces and a forum Crash does this take the TOTY award yet
  12. OK Clue on how I used old forum and can I do same again... I used to 1) View my posts (Ego Search as it was in search Bar ). 2) View Unread posts. That was it.... Are those buttons there still?
  13. I would buy a waterproof Second hand phone or Cubit Quest at about £110 (they are tough waterproof, I just extracted mine having dropped it from a van into another Puddle earlier today). Then look for SIM only deal for data.
  14. Think I have managed it myself I deleted my own signature and above was option to disable signatures... Think I no longer see any...
  15. Is there a way to get rid of people's signatures. I keep seeing more about Mahogany and biting shinny metal ass than I need...
  16. The government already does that. Hence the panic to find the £40 billion to replace fuel duty. Why don't they just increase it more? Just like smoking they have had to tax cigarettes massively to get people to stop. Cars will be the same.
  17. I know my thought is not going to be popular here... If your going to tax cars surely the best tax is on fuel. The more you use the more you pay. Do it through tax and limitations per vehicle your just going to put more on the road... There will always be loop holes, tax on fuel atleast is across the board.
  18. My present helmet is flip front and well fitting. I cannot use the boom Mike do use button Mike, it works quite well. Would not blame that on Packtalk. The other thing I have learned is the cut outs in just about every helmet are different and rarely in right place..
  19. All reminds me of the first time I came home from school to use my own front door key... Opened front door heard a knocking noise followed by language (actually it was repeated in 2 languages but I understood both) a 11 year old boy should not hear, know or be that familiar with. Being far to familiar with such language I shut the door and took my friends offer of dinner up. Yup as I opened the door mum put a nail through a pipe, took said nail out of pipe and was left grasping said pipe as I merrily went on my way... She had to let it run while ran down to the stop cock and called her pet plumber... Stop cock in that house was in the down stairs toilet between toilet and boiler, I had used it once or twice before...
  20. If bike ahs been layed up for a whilst I am great believe in a dose of your favourite fuel additive... Presently mine is: Quicksilver Others will disagree about fuel additives and the Choice..
  21. It did that to me I assume turning orange means it went through...
  22. You have ridden round the motorway junction being told take the next exit several times as well the Another is double Mini roundabouts where the voice just cannot keep up a quick glance says it all..
  23. You get the same round here, people coming and picking mushrooms fruit etc. Most of it seems to turn up in craft fairs genuine new forest... Blah blah. ££€€$$ Being parshall to slow gin, for years we have picked our own. Knowing a few places that where normally left unpicked. This year before the fruit was ripe it was gone... I am guessing lock down expanded peoples local knowledge.
  24. If it's an old lamp, is amazing how well they can attach themselves to the holder..WD40 and large flat screwdriver...
