  1. How are you insured ? Am sure you're policy will state that you must hold the Correct Licence for the insured vehicle . Which you currently don't so technically voiding your insurance which is worth 6 points and then your riding otherwise in accordance to a licence which can carry 3-6points . So if your licence us relatively new you have lost it already not to mention the fines . Shall i continue ?
  2. Decent Crash bungs manufacturers fixings are designed to bend ( ie the bolts ) under impact to reduce the impact into frame and mountings, so i would investigate that aspect at least so in the event of another unscheduled dismount the protection is at 100% efficiency.
  3. Hence why i had my bike at Lands End .... Week away in Cornwall , bikes in Van .AirBnb . Use van or Bikes ... what's not to like . Saw some huge Hedgehogs in Truro ...

    Fork seals - again

You will find that as the dampening has been compromised on the one fork it places more strain on the other so you may find it will follow quickly .
  5. If you have breakdown cover see if you have a Key Assist cover or some home insurance will have something .
  6. What do you expect with that huge target on the tank ?

  9. Highway code rule 244 Rule 244 You MUST NOT park partially or wholly on the pavement in London, and should not do so elsewhere unless signs permit it. Parking on the pavement can obstruct and seriously inconvenience pedestrians, people in wheelchairs or with visual impairments and people with prams or pushchairs. Law GL(GP)A sect 15
  10. Until you require warranty work and because you didn't follow their instructions/ procedures Yes engines have advanced from 60 years ago with liners and better material and not casted or hand built with a Minky going fook it that will do , but anyone can make a you tube video and show you what they believe to be true and present ' evidence' to collaborate this. Doesn't mean its factually correct and lets face it VW made how many people believe their emissions data ? Nah i will stick with what i know and trust ..
  11. Rode it into the back of a van ! Thankfully my own van and took it to be thrashed around Castle Coombe with Local IAM group ... Took the wife and her bike also (would be rude not to) Finally decided to buy a Van that we can use for TD's and going away in with bikes ...
  12. Am.on about the running for 10mins than the fuel in oil. The pump will prime on start up filling the system but will not activate afterwards so only allowing the pipework of fuel to run through the carbs ... Which can result in more sediment and crub being dragged through ...
  13. Hope your neighbours don't mind watching your face while having a Shite ....
  14. And are you following the manual for float setting or just using this ' tool ' ?
  15. How did you find Fuel in your oil ? Check the fuel pump power as these are common to having issues with wiring connections overheating and giving intermittent power . It can range from the ignition switch back to the relay ... Try appling a direct 12v feed to pump as a test Check you have not kinked a hose under the tank , again quite a common occurrence
  16. But they have made the learning curve of being able to control a bike with one hand ... And being adamant to keep both hands on bars makes it interesting when for some unknown gremlin in your electric system means you now have to use Hand signals for your intentions ... So is it a bad thing ?
  17. 1 observation ... I would cap the ends of the jaws to reduce the risk of a long bar being inserted and attempts to bend the jaws apart .

  19. I have to also apologise as didn't realise they now did a ' intensive course' which is what you were quoted for .. But visit Roadar as that is the local group training method
  20. That is the intensive course not the standard group rider method .. Google ROADAR
  21. Look at it this way the footage may aid your treatment in the event of an accident . If no witnesses etc it can add insight to mechanism of injury etc
