  1. +1 Agree with the above's. However I prefer to blatt it down to Folkestone, I don't mind the 5hrs of grin and bear it, I just want to get out of the country and enjoy the roads and countryside abroad.
  2. They tend to do that, especially just after Christmas. Oh, What's your location/part of the country are you in.
  3. I haven't enough belongings to fill something as ridiculous as that.
  4. Insurance companies and their thieving off spring are only after your money and how much they can claim from each other. They're all good until you make a claim. Your probably over thinking it. example - we have your bike and waiting for the 3rd Party to acknowledge and value the bike, will you sign the storage agreement until this gets sorted, the agreement is between you and us and the storage is £1000 a month, but we will claim it from the 3rd party, if you don't sign, we wont be able to claim the money from the 3rd Party and will have to return the bike back to you. Me, don't give a @uck, fetch it back, I have plenty of room for storage, then I will meet the valuer face to face and we can talk money. I have insurance because I need it to ride legally. As for reviews, a perspective of someone opinion, not worth a carrot to me. I've never experienced a good insurer or their hangers on yet, no matter who they are. Buys your insurance and enjoy many happy years of claim free riding.
  5. I'm shocked Yorkshire folk would even contemplate paying that price for breakfast
  6. Flog it, some else will enjoy it and you get to enjoy your 6 DOF Platform
  7. Yep. I thought it was total shite too.
  8. Went for a ride on the MT07 to the Local Yamaha/Suzuki dealers, been looking for a replacement bike. I am fighting the urge not to buy another adventure style bike. Looked at the Suzuki GT, nice sports tourer and a likely option, then saw the new Busa (sadly out of my price range). The Yam GT9 is another option, then I saw an Honda NT1100DCT with Luggage, great bike but too Dullville. Now sat here thinking a ride to BMW Dealer next week to see what they have, gawd help me in there, but the local Suzuki near me is also the New North West KTM dealer, opening in a few weeks. The search continues.

  13. Mike, Have you got the panniers for the HATAS or just run with a top box, & how does it fair with the box on the back at Mway speed.
  14. And sadly not uncommon. In my line of work I come across this quite regularly

  16. or was the light telling you something else, could the V-Strom be an overly sensitive or easily offended motorcycle, who believes it is entitled to special treatment on account of their supposedly unique characteristics
  17. I think you're over thinking it, nowt wrong with the Versys, bomb proof engines, well tested and will entertain. People have toured on them with no issues what's so ever.

  21. XCP applies straight from the tin, just like deodorant
  22. I used to drop the tin of ACF50 in a bucket of hot water for 15mins before applying, now use XCP, applies very easily straight out of the tin.
