  1. Well a bloody Ninja Foodimax 9 in 1 arrived today, well its keeping the wife busy. Can I say that
  2. It has movement detection, I suppose I have the false reassurance that if I'm in a shop and someone tries to move the bike I can be an all action hero and stop it from being stolen, not.
  3. I would signal left, last time I was down Elliot street the left turn straight after (the one in red above ) is one way so in theory nothing should come down there Plus Elliot street is no entry from the opposing direction, as it is one way Plus I would only signal if it was going to be of use to someone else, but that's just me.
  4. When I was commuting, I had getting ready off to a T, all within 5 mins, now I just cant be arsed riding for pleasure.
  5. I have the older one, works a treat, and I have been subscribing to them for the last couple of years.
  6. Well he did once say "don't believe everything you read on the internet" 1986
  7. I once bought a pair, after their first use they went in the bin, I would never to buy an Oxford garment again that claims to be waterproof.
  8. That's a bargain to ride for another 12 months
  9. I think area codes do have some part to play. However; I think it is just a cover up for all the robbing bar stewards that are the additional 3rd parties that screw the underwriters. Ask me how I Know.
  10. This test centre is relatively a new facility that caters for all and it always appears busy, (well it is local to me) William Shakespeare recons a 47% pass rate. I don't think there are any difficulties around the routes.
  11. The biker thugs might be the instructors
  12. Its getting costly for us older folk now too
  13. Nope, not got a clue what they are. We still use th'oven n th'ob
  14. I haven't got a scooby. I was meant to test ride the HATAS but due to the bad weather, never made it. Currently looking at all the brands.
  15. Well I've decided to sell the little MT07. Gave it a good clean this morning, ready for sale.
  16. It is possible to have a key made or the ignition is picked and once at P2 it can be removed from the housing, the tumblers rearranged and a new key cut, the only problem is, is it chipped with HISS, at least his key wont fit, If you get the keys back, its then very easy to revert the ignition barrel back to original key.
  17. What's the budget, plenty in Auto Trader but north of £3K
  18. What budget. Honda CRF250 should meet your requirements. Edit: Or a Cheap TTR250 Edit Again: What used to be cheap ain't cheap anymore
  19. Will it be a service at 16K, valve check and all, have you an idea of cost
  20. @MikeHorton@Gerontious The bike will be a replacement for the KTM. However I have also been keeping a close eye on a Ninja 1000SX What appeals to me is, the HATAS (just like the KTM SAS) is a bike that would make me feel I want to get it out of the garage in any weather and have the capacity to go anywhere at anytime, with or without pillion and enough luggage space for a fortnight for both, using my Bumot Panniers and top box, that said, do I need an adventure bike if I'm never going to go off road. So that is where the Ninja 1000SX with Luggage come into play, but I feel its not big enough for 2 up touring, and not a bike I would like to ride in winter or inclement weather, Second thoughts the Kwak might be the best option I visited Williams BMW on Sunday, daft prices for high mileage bikes, as good as they are I don't think it will be another BMW.
  21. I have spied an HATAS I am interested in. Might just have the urge to splash out tomorrow.
  22. I only found out my car MOT was up when I submitted 3 months of expenses, company policy only paid expenses for business use when provided with Insurance, MOT & Tax
  23. Not as good as a van, but you can hire bike trailers cheaply. If you have a towbar that is.
  24. 1. Head on Collision. Young Boy racer on the wrong side of the road, yes we were on the Cat n Fiddle (bike and me were a total right off) 2. White Van Man on drugs and charged at scene, decided to reverse over me. He decided to anchor on whilst travelling down a country lane and just started reversing without warning. Received a letter from the Police this week to say the driver was due to appear in court last week but never showed. (Currently on going)
