  5. Too bloody expensive
  6. @rennie I'm assuming it passed if you put fuel in it.
  7. Don't buy cheap. I commute and carry a laptop and surveying equipment, puncture kit and pump amongst other bits. The way the Kriega moves the weight away from your shoulders and arms makes for a comfortable ride, believe me I've tried others and they are sh1te compared to Kriega. EDIT- I should add, I would probably use another backpack for one off journeys but commuting to and from work roughly 46 weeks year, you soon find out what works when you start to ache
  8. Kriega R30 Backpack - nothing else even comes close. Its more than just waterproof, the harness design takes the weight away from the shoulders and underarm. Hydra pack compatible too, but its double your price range
  9. I find the weather stone more reliable than the BBC
  10. Its just not cricket or is it. 22 yards or as they say, 1 Chain.
  11. Another stupid Idea, who pays these people to come up with this sh1te.
  12. That's not including the wife's or the youngest lads gear.
  13. Waking up early to take the KTM for its 9K service. 75 mile commute to Colwyn Bay. A 2hr twisty ride there and probably a longer return journey home.
  14. I think I'm in the same boat, I daren't actually want to look. Lids - Embarrassed to say just thrown away a Shoei Neotec and an Arai Quantum
  15. KTM - the rest are boring
  16. Happy Birthday
  17. Has that Barnsley sensation 'Rate my Takeaway' been to yours yet.
  18. Such a shame about the young man, however the woman and the others deserve a reality slap.
  19. Awelfryn Campsite near Newborough Beach is as Basic as they come - great little site over looking the Llyn Peninsula with its own microclimate
  20. is it not treated as a taxable benefit in kind though. I've just had three charge points installed at my office
  21. Do you pay for the electric you use at work for charging your car.
  22. For over 10 years I been running my MPV on LPG - currently between £0.70 and £0.78 per litre. I've noticed there are far more fuel station in Euroland that supply LPG, the BP issue has been and gone, I try not to use BP for anything, their fuel and shops are the dearest around here. Our local Morrisons have two LPG pumps.
  23. As above, but in addition, try booking on a Bike Safe Course - well worth the money and get the advice straight from plod. As I was once told, remember when filtering to the front, ensure you have room to pull in without crossing the solid white line.

    Normandy

Headed into Bayeux, which is a beautiful town in its own right. I had a walk around the town, with a visit to the musee de la Tapisserie de Bayeux. Well I thought my mother could darn socks, the tapestry its a great piece of Romanesque art depicting the conquest of England by the Duke of Normandy, you walk around the display with a handheld phone which narrates the story as you move along. No photography allowed. A delightful walk around the town, later in the evening I have a need for pizza, not a bad view from my table. Just a short walk around the corner a band had set to play in the square.
