  1. Malta is a lovely place. Its well worth a visit. Then again so is the rest of Europe, would love to spend about 3-4 weeks touring Europe in a campervan
  2. It is a nice van though
  3. Decided to have a ride to Southport while others were watching the football. The carousel was deserted apart from a small gaggle of Trumpets.
  4. Do you have to have a test 72hrs prior to your return to the UK
  5. Rode it to and from work, like I do everyday. In keeping with @Stu layby pictures. I have attached a sh1te picture of a layby on the way home from work (the reason I don't post pictures everyday), a picture of the little MT07 sporting a neat little Kriega 30l Rucksack
  6. I don't begrudge paying for the test's if that what is required, what I don't like is the vast difference in cost between operators and companies. £215 for you to travel to America - £57 for Eurotunnel crossing, yet my Eurocamp booking offer is only £13 for the test.
  7. Yep time already booked off regardless....love the west coast of Scotland, if wee Jimmy Crankie with let the Salfordians travel we might end up there - well at least the dreaded midge might have disappeared by then.
  8. Ah, I see, the UK Gov are saying the NHS track & Trace cant provide the documents I need to travel however, you can buy them off Doris's friend for £75, Damn - Anyone want to by 25 Rapid Lateral Flow Test's
  9. Just reading on the requirements on travel, Eurotunnel - Are they saying the NHS test's are sh1te or are they just trying to make money out of us... All passengers aged 11 and older (even if fully vaccinated) travelling on our passenger service require a negative result from a non-NHS PCR test taken in the previous 72 hours or a non-NHS Antigen (lateral flow) test taken in the previous 48 hours. At French border controls you will need to present digital or paper evidence of the negative result provided by the test provider. Purchase a discounted testing kit from just £57 from Prenetics* Find a private test provider There is no COVID-19 testing facility at the Eurotunnel site
  10. Ye gets what ye pays for. Worth every penny in my book
  11. Can you change your crossing booking - just wondering whether to book anything yet!! And if I do could the dates be changed later ...
  12. Have you booked your crossing and accommodation yet.
  13. Just wondering, 'what do you think the chances are this year of travelling abroad on the bike'. I've booked the first week in September off and the first week in October off, in the hope there might be a glimmer of hope that we can travel abroad on the bike.
  14. Yep - Everyday, Why.
  15. A two and a half hour run out tonight while the football was on, empty roads over Derbyshire
  16. Not knowing your route, I'm assuming you're transiting through France, have a look at Logis Hotels, traditional establishments in towns and villages www.logishotels.com/en/ alternatively plan your route and google accommodation in the town or village you want to stay, simple really.
  17. There is no benefit.............My work colleague has a very expensive electric car, he recently went up to Scotland for a few days break. Once in the highlands the car needed charging, after several frantic attempts to charge the car at different charging locations it was eventually picked up by the recovery services, the car was taken to the nearest dealership where it has sat untouched for over week, so the app says! apparently they don't have the technology or diagnostic equipment to fault find and repair. Computer say's no
  18. by what means are you ordering another one, who off and where from. Do you have a key number, do you have another key to copy from, if so and its chipped it is sometimes possible to have it cloned
  19. Great engine the CP2. I have the MT07 and the low-mid torque is great fun and enough power for our roads, gone are the days for top end stuff, enjoy

    New bike!

Nice bike, a great power house to take you anywhere with ease. I thought it would have been lighter than the big ol bird of an FJR I had the old R1100RT and that was as smooth as silk and took me to Italy and back with ease a few times.
  21. nice bike. I'd a thought you'd a been a RS man
  22. I'd keep the cardo and sell the BM
  23. What was Cardo's instruction. How do you have it set up now. I dont know much about the BMW TFT apart from there are several issues when using Eyephones. Is the Sat Nav recognised as the main operator - do you have the Cardo linked directly to your phone 1st or sat nav and TFT. Try linking the Cardo to the sat nav & TFT. Sorry not much help, What do I know, I ride a KTM and struggle with the TFT on that
