  1. Where is the bike and why can you not see it!
  2. Word of the day. 'Spuddle'.
  3. Good shout, I need to add a location/venue, otherwise I get lazy and cant be bothered going anywhere.
  4. Out this weekend, unsure where yet, need a three sided coin, either Lakes, Dale's or Peak District
  5. You can find plenty of roads in North Wales with very little traffic on them. Today was very busy on the Major roads, stick to the B roads and hardly any traffic. Edit B4407
  6. Buffeting on your helmet can get annoying
  7. went for a ride around Wales, I tried the new screen with the spoiler on today, ended up at an angle to deflect the wind on my shoulders, helmet in clean air around the chops. I'm not sure about it on the small screen.....interested to see how you get on with it
  8. I've not been over the Snake for a couple of years, the road at the Glossop end to Ladybower was in horrendous condition. I hope its a lot better now
  9. I bought one of those a couple of years ago, found it worked well.
  10. How do you explain that to the boss
  11. Good Kit but at eye watering prices. I could only afford a 1/4" ratchet https://www.tengtools.com/r/gb/en/Tool-Kits
  12. I have never owned any of the ones you have mentioned. I did purchase one of these for Spring/Autumn commuting to work Richa Atomic Textile Jacket - Black - FREE UK DELIVERY (sportsbikeshop.co.uk) I've yet to come across an Oxford waterproof garment.
  13. All being well on Sunday - Going for a ride to North Wales
  14. My daily commute is on a Yamaha MT07, light and agile and probably not much bigger than a 125. Although my commute doesn't involve using motorways or any fast flowing sections of A road, I still wouldn't like to do it on a 125. As for a cruiser
  15. Haffy Burpday
  16. probably worth more in sentimental terms than monetary value. I don't know many folk who would buy a second hand brain bucket.
  17. I used to use walkie talkies with Vox many moons ago, with modern intercoms becoming more affordable I found the faffery of walkie talkies too much faff. Plus to get some real range you needed a base plate and aerial like a motorcycle CB Radio enthusiast now the kids use them on holiday.
  18. I know! The original screen is pants, too much buffeting, sooner have clean air smacking me in the chops.
  19. Took the bike out for a quick 3hrs ride to test the new screen, unsure yet!!
  20. Morning. Dry at the mo, rain due this afternoon
  21. I'll be venturing out after dinner (lunch to those south of the M62 )
  22. Hopefully If I'm OK and the weather is fine on Saturday, I'm off out for a ride somewhere
  23. I quite enjoyed the ride home in the rain this evening.
  24. Retro fit isn't too bad when combined with ground source heat pumps, you can now have a system similar to your Y plan central heating. Problem with retro fit, slinkies typically require twice the footprint of your home and bore holes are the better option but more expensive. We're building 92 properties, all with ground source heating, only required 46 bore holes 180m deep its witchcraft I tell ya.
