    Touring again

Exactly what the wide and I did and didn't rush test rode as many as we could before taking the plunge
  2. I'd certainly do the course I had one years ago
  3. Morning looks a bit damp out there again, short ride to work in a bit.
  4. On non verbal humour I loved the film The Plank still makes me laugh a classic.
  5. Good morning was a little grey and no rain this morning, its now raining. I just want a nice crisp dry winter with blue skies, not today!
  6. I think Wales is the nearest available for us. I think it's the sheer numbers, effects seem a lot less but its how quickly its spread.
  7. Much better now ur back in Cov good luck this season!
  8. If you want to go down the Chinese based route chose your brand carefully. I live close to the mutt factory but I think they are a bit overpriced sure they have changed some bits for custom made bits but the loom and the tyres are still cheap. At least with ajs those models have been round for a few years and parts are available if you are doing your own servicing. If the vintage route check for parts and be handy enough to make repairs. I don't think brixton 125s have a UK supplier anymore.
  9. What about instructioni?
  10. Rowing you mentioned that's one of the best exercises you can get along with swimming. Tones and burns fat exercises most of your body. I uesd to row on water but only use an erg now I was fortunate enough to win a bid on a used one at work concept 2 was a steal for £320 hardly used. With my ongoing heart issues I have struggled but trying to get back into it as I've gained 5kg since this issue
  11. Whiskey reviews could be another good thread!
  12. Hope you have all had a peaceful one and over indulged. I was meant to be working all over Xmas and New year but occ health have reduced my hours and no nights so a bit bitter sweet nice to relax but a lot of overtime missed. On a positive note watched lots of none Xmas TV binge watched Pacific on sky over 3 days it was very good if not sobering. Hope you all have a good new year here's to hopefully some good times in 2022 positive thoughts!
  13. Hope those last 2 shifts fly by and keep your whisky stocks up
  14. The cornering lights on the AT make it a breeze on the country lanes on my way to and from work hardly need the main beam.
  15. I'm no expert but I think these are v similar to the sinnis 125 trail types. I think Haynes only do a generic Chinese 125 manual.
  16. I think the refusal stems from her trying to avoid the justice system. We allegedly stand shoulder to shoulder with Uncle Sam, share the same values and often extradite our citizens to them to face justice. I guess you can see why there was no meeting, its a toothless tiger without the justice first.
  17. Slightly going off topic but with various operational stories shared one of my favourites is an older one more related to the Army and RN but none the less an interesting one. The Boer Wars are a bit of a forgotten one but plenty of great stories and brave folk from both sides. Both nations stood shoulder to shoulder less than 20 years later in the Great War. Seems diplomacy and moving on for the greater good are a thing of the past. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Ladysmith
  18. Good that you have it sorted. RE won't answer you re the clocks issue it's the only model they have that style clock on and they still ain't sorted the moisture issue 3 years on. When I had mine the 2nd clock started misting when I part exd mine. Shame they can't sort these little niggles
  19. Is that a Bridgeport on the right? I have some fond memories of my toolmaking days
  20. I've only ever had issues with UPS too I always thought they were a premium carrier clearly not. We have a great DPD courier locally I can't fault them. I think it's a lottery depends on the company and individual drivers at times.
  21. Stick to Wales ur missing nothing in Birmingham even the peaky blinders had enough and left!
  22. I think there are some tried and tested adventure add on odos but not too familiar. I had the same issue with my RE Himalayan, rust on pannier racks and gear selector indicator issues. I had to threaten small claims court before the dealer sorted the issues RE UK are impossible to get hold of and Al MotoGB do is redirect you to the dealer. I ended up getting the issues rectified and selling. They didn't want to really hear from me at the NEC in 2019 when I went to their stand. Shame really they just need to sort their customer care. I know CooperB are really good and sort most issues for people.
