Epic 6 hours of work on the 600. New sprockets front and back, new DD gold chain, new rear disc and pads (old disc on wear limit). Old chain has 2 stiffish links that should clear up after a good soak in parrafin and both sprockets are not unduly worn so will keep them all in case of emergency

Depends if the new cable has an inner sleeve, generally white in colour. This is basically ptfe tape so non friction. If not a couple of drops of oil should be adequate

Perhaps the driver thought it was a cheap way to create an open top tourist bus -

That wasn't you that passed me, going eastbound on the A5 this morning? 5 or 6 bikes all with luggage about 6.40ish. I was on the red bike, going to work

Had a look at the drive Cog. Have noticed a clunk/knocking noise at slow revs/moving off in busy traffic and thought the small Cog may be hooked, but it's fine. Chain has got a tight spot but no stuck/sticking links but does jump/snatch while running on tickover, but nothing jumps out at me saying "this is the culprit". Chain is kept oiled via a Scott oiler and is less than half way on the adjustment guides so plenty of life left so I'm baffled

@rennie, job centres don't do the job they used to. There's no boards with cards on or really any kind of vacancy on show, all they really do now is ask what you have been doing to find work, and you are expected to spent 37 hours a week job hunting. All vacancies are now online through their own website (jobsearch, I think it's called) and everything else is done via a online journal. If I were you I would use indeed or CV-Library for jobs, as they tend to have them all in one place so easier to look and if you set up notifications properly you get the correct vacancies sent to you via email. The first 90 days are kind of like a grace period where you are given time to adjust to your new situation, but after that they will start to push you more and the risk of sanctions arises if you fail to keep to the commitments you agreed with your job-coach. Anyway, best of luck a d hope you find something suitable -
Honda CBF125 Wheel Alignment & Chain Tension Troubles

As @Davidtav has said, it's not a good idea to ride a bike with a bent frame. You will cause uneven wear to the tyres at the very least, and having misaligned sprockets is pretty dangerous and there is a risk of steering wobble at motorway speeds, and possibly highsiding on bends (trust me, I know that all too well, and my frame was only 1/4" out of true) -
Try CSMNL, (consolidated motor spares Netherlands). Look up your bike and it gives exploded diagrams of the parts as well as a parts list

Shouldn't that read a "single brain cell"

The scooter scheme in my area is run by Voii, and there so-called checks to stop unlicensed people/kids from using the bloody things are non existing, and if you complain to them about kids being on them, or Two up instead of a single passenger they just send you spiel about how l. 4 million journeys have been made, saving the environment etc

Excusi, you fixa da bike?

Have you tried the optimate on the old battery as a direct connection? Although mine is a newer version the flashing red on mine means it's in recovery mode. My battery, though not old, lost its cranking amps but would not charge properly while the battery was on the bike (flashing red light) but was fine once removed from the bike so bought a new battery and now keep the old one connected to the optimate as a spare

Maybe damp has got into the instrument panel and causing the shenanigans. I had to replace my Cbf600sa8 instruments as they went odd after a lay up of about 6 months due to Covid- 1 reply
