I'm like @bonio, in having small ear canals so I use the smallest silicone plugs I could get online. Can't wear them for long periods though else my inner ear becomes very sore

I read somewhere, maybe on here, of someone failing their test for "not being in control of their vehicle" They were told to make a left turn and as they turned into the street there was a car parked up with a door open so testee crossed the white line in the centre of the road to go past so was failed for basically avoiding a collision

I never expected to get back into work after the bowel cancer, so took early retirement and my private pension, but couldn't stand doing nothing all day so started looking for a job and I'm glad I did.

Sorry husoi, it was meant to be Onsea, but I couldn't edit the post. Two of his books are titled how to kill

Two of the titles in your pics seem to run on a theme. Not planning something are we @husoi

That's what always makes me laugh when they hand out driving bans/points on a licence when the bloody scrote ain't got one in the first place

You've done a good job there. I used to be a partner in a painting and decorating business, specialising in reclamation work, and we got a public house that a retired couple had bought as a free house to renovate. The old beams were fairly easy to return to the original condition, but they wanted the walls wattle and daubed, which needed lime plastering, and neither of us could do it ourselves so we tried to get an expert without success. We never got the job finished because of my business partner decided to split from his wife and then moved into the van instead of a hotel or B+B -
Ii do believe someone used to go to the rally in a camper van with two bikes in the back, so it can be done

Something between the belt and bell is not working, as the bell is directly connected to the rear wheel, so it will rotate when you turn the bell, and vice versa, turn wheel, bell turns. As already mentioned on here the centrifugal force from a spinning clutch is not engaging the thrust bearings, (for want of a better description)

Not as bad as me asking my mate if he wants a bumhug. I meant to say humbug. Needless to say he declined the offer -

I'm thinking of leaving my current job because the company keeps piling more things to do on me. I've gone from setting/operating a press to booking goods in that is for my section, wrapping the work once I've punched holes in it and then crating it up for shipping. At my age all I want to do is just run the press
