  1. +1 on the helmet. I bought one in June last year, and it's the best I've worn in a long time. The only helmet I've had that's close was a Bieffe, and that was maybe 15 years ago
  2. I was having visions of Onsea going for a sex change, or at least a change in clothing style
  3. All the above and more HB Stu
  4. With a name like that you've got to visit,
  5. Mine would have to be the biscuit version
  6. Cleaned and repainted the left hand footrest hanger, then sanded down the front screen area ready to repaint because it looked like it has been sandblasted in some areas so was an eyesore
  7. A hot glue gun would work for securing the capacitor after soldering
  8. Met @Ian frog at the football club, did the ride in and had a good look around in Dav. Went to Greggs, but had to leave early due to my stoma bag breaking it's seal.
  9. As above, Happy birthday
  10. Have donated to the food bank, and will be joining the ride in, aim to get there for 9.30am (ish)
  11. Welcome in, and nice video
  12. Last time I was there I was up on the top of the cliffs overlooking a car park, when there was a loud bang and the top of a car battery went flying up towards me. Someone had gone to help a stricken classic car with a flat battery and had connected the terminals the wrong way round
  13. Anyone suggest a good place to maybe meet up? At the moment it looks like I'm not working Saturday so will be going.
  14. I'm currently having a cup of tea and I'm then off to good ol skeggy
  15. You can, but get some adhesion promoter before starting any spraying, and yes there is special primer for plastics/pvcs. Rub down the mudguard to remove all blemishes then treat with adhesion promoter before applying the primer, allow to dry then prime, then gently rub down between each coat, using 2 or 3 coats
  16. Wet and dry emery cloth, 1800 grit or finer, rub down very gently after each coat. This removes any potential lumps left behind by aerosol cans
