Should we be reminding a lady she is one year older? Happy birthday Gym let us know how the baby blade is coming on when you regain consciousness. Cheers Ian

Well posted Sir. Cheers Ian

Actually considered it. Didn't want to take a backpack though. fuel stations usually do coffee, its just not very scenic. I have a small thermos stainless steel one 500ml just bigger than an average cupful and that fits inside my jacket pocket Don't want to go all Elf and wafety on you, god knows I can be stooped but for fooks sake don't come off with a stainless flask in your jacket ! You have no idea the mess it will make of your ribs. Nearly as bad as those nobheads who wear heavy duty chains over their shoulders. Safer in flip flops and shorts lol. Cheers Ian

They havent been in touch after nearly 3 years lol I have a feeling you wont be hearing anything soon. I am with the others just go for it you are leaving and if you get pulled I am sure you can revert to your native language and play dumb. I work in the building trade and have seen more than a few eastern European cars that have never been UK registered after years lol. I group of brickies I know have been back to Romania quite a few times and have used their car over here for more than 5 years. Cheers Ian

I agree with you and if it was the right diameter I would have used them. I will be phoning Cradley in the morning. Cheers Ian

Thats interesting new clips from Cradley just arrived. Very different to the originals! Hmm has someone worked out there is a problem with the old anodized wire clip?

If you had been following I am sure you would have had a giggle as the back end went all wibble and I was trying to gently scrub off speed mindful that wobble could get worse as I slowed down. acceleration wasn't an option lol. Cheers Ian

Out and about security
Ian Frog replied to JimJam20's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
Why? Cheers Ian -
Oh yes 98Nm per the book. Vibration is a wonderful loosener lol. Now torqued again waiting for postie. Cheers Ian

The offer of bench use was genuine although I have a suspicion I am too far away to be practical. As an aside following the weekends unscheduled rear spindle incident Rex is on the bench till Tues evening but with the good weather happy to wheel stuff about to make room. Cheers Ian

Are you a professional dealer with an ebay account ? Cheers Ian

Obviously not that rapid ! Could be we don't know either. Cheers Ian

Now you`ve told her you still have it I have 2 pieces of advice . 1. HIDE IT ! 2. Announce publicly you have lost your tape measure as I am sure you will be inundated with questions lol. Cheers Ian

Well mate we are just happy nothing bad came of it! 10 quid spent isn't much to be safe I totally agree and while she was on the bench I scraped and cleaned those recesses that the clips sit in and would advise everyone else who has this system to do the same. The chain side which was the side in the pic I believe the residue of chain lube hadn't helped so this is now very clean. At least it proves I haven`t neglected chain oiling lol. Cheers Ian

You are right guys very hairy and I was still a tad shaky when I got home. Spindle now retorqued to 90Nm waiting for 3 little bits of wire ( part no. 92033) from Mr Cradley Kawasaki 1 as replacement 2 to go under seat lol. Mind you £3.73 each just added insult to injury lol. You should have seen the reaction of the guy I was overtaking at the time lol. I didnt know you could stoppie a BMW K series with full luggage at over 80mph lol. Cheers Ian
-
If anyone ever doubted how important the little circlips Kawasaki use on their rear spindle fastenings were look what happens when one pings off and you are unaware. Felt just like a blow out then much wobbling stopped and reattached spindle and nut then rode home like miss Daisy lol. Cheers Ian

I actually think it looks more like "Dodge`s" bike than Nev`s I seem to recall he was building 3 Busa based bikes one for the road one for wheelies and one for top speed stuff. Cheers Ian

gymwitch If you pick it up in a van my bench is available for a preliminary strip for cleaning and give you a start if you want? I am aware I am a long way away but its an offer of help if you need it? Cheers Ian

Just managing your expectations ! Cheers Ian Could do a straight swap for my 636 ninja then Thanks but I have no boat and no need for an anchor ! Besides I have already confessed to a bad back so a smaller sportsbike would be as welcome as gritty haemorrohoids (cant spell so just say piles). Cheers Ian
