  1. Whoever gave this advice on Facebook
  2. My answer to anyone behind me with full beams on
  3. I'm alright as we go through gallons of the stuff at work, and all in nice big 5 litre bottles like this I have the empties at home as they are surprisingly useful to keep in the garage, I use them for screenwash, plant food etc. Without wanting to start a whole other debate I also use one full of tepid water to de-ice car in the morning. Takes 30 seconds to do entire estate
  4. Always worth remembering that the padding on a new helmet compresses over time so what might feel perfect in the shop could be too loose after a month's wear
  5. Ogri moved over to Back Street Heroes after Bike so could of been there too. Might have to dig out my Ogri books, haven't read them in years. Has anyone seen the prices they go for on Ebay nowadays? its mad!!
  6. Does anyone on here still buy and read them at all? I used to buy tons of different mags (not just biking) but nowadays not as much. Only ones I pick up to read now and then are Ride and Classic motorcycle mechanics.

  10. Hello and welcome. You will probably be better off looking on autotrader than waiting on the off chance a forum member both has the bike you want and decides to sell it on here. Though you never know, stranger things have happened

  12. Feeling a little guilty that i'm not back at work until Tuesday
  13. As they were a forum sponsor I always clicked on the banner and let them get me a quote but never once did they come close to others sadly.
  14. Is this a trick of some kind? have you conspired with everyones Wives/Girlfriends, Significant others? I'm not telling!!
  15. Sounds good, I'd be looking at the fine print to see what is actually covered by the warranty though
  16. I think its been designed with the plan of being so undesirable you don't need to protect it from theft
  17. what bike? it might of originally been a chrome wheel that someones rattle canned black
  18. Sad news from the Nestlé factory today. A night shift worker was crushed beneath a case of chocolate that fell 20 feet off the storage racking. He called for help repeatedly but every time he shouted "The Milky Bars are on me" his colleagues just cheered.
  19. Never had any issues with the battery discharging on my Intruder, nor have I heard that was an issue with them I'd look at getting a new battery, I just bought one for approx £25 as my bike has been stood for last 18 months in my garage For reference the Main electrical issues I have come across were usually related to the spark plugs or the ht leads
  20. Today's my last one then off until Friday My Wife is a Midwife and has managed to get Christmas Day and Boxing day off this year !! (though she still has had to work this weekend including being on call both nights plus working all day Xmas eve )
