  1. I was told same thing from guy on counter at Europarts when I bought some brake pads from them online. Didn't fit caliper at all despite being the correct ones according to their system. When I went into store to return them, the computer he used specified the correct ones
  2. It got me home.......and back to work and home again for about a week until I got a new clutch cable
  3. Apparently I'm putting shelves up
  4. I got a karcher vacuum from Amazon for £50 just before Christmas. It looks and acts like a Henry hoover. Powerful enough and is a wet and dry too. Only thing is it's pretty light so is easy to pull the whole thing over which kills the motor
  5. Best thing about the cutter is the lack of dust. Couldn't believe the amount of dust you get when doing laminate cuts with circular saw or similar
  6. I bought a proper laminate cutter when I did my hallway. It goes through the planks surprisingly well. Edit: my hallway was 16mm boards and the cutter handled them fine.
  7. When I worked at a petrol station there used to be a woman who came in regularly and always wore a shirt that had " babes getting dirty in the mud" written on it. She was into off roading in her land rover

Reminds me of when my Brother who emigrated to Canada approx 6 years ago said MOM to me
  9. @NeilM countersteering only works if you are using super unleaded and fully synthetic bike specific oil
  10. I'm actually pretty pissed off as I saw this earlier on a facebook group (though it was car related) I was planning on making a bike related version and posting it tonight when I got back from work!! Guess I could just remove this thread instead for not being a genuine sale
  11. My days been longer than yours
  12. Apparently while I've been at work a kamikaze bird has flown into my daughter's bedroom window and Is now lying dead on the back garden hedge And obviously neither my wife nor daughter will deal with it so that's a job for me when I get back!
  13. I got someone to redo our dormer bedroom roof rather than doing it myself. Mainly as I try and avoid working at heights whenever possible He did a decent job, even flew up a drone to show me what needed doing and again after he finished the job
  14. Can't remember which company it was but I remember being told It would cost £55 in admin fees to change my address The policy was only £145 as well. It had 2 months to go so I just let it carry on at old address. Not what I'd recommend but the thought of paying a company £55 to change a line on a computer screen really annoyed me!
  15. @bonio I'm over 25 so that sounds fine to me. Sod the youngsters
  16. What I've always used, but thats because I'm cheap
  17. Certainly is. I've sorted it now. @Stu is getting a bit lax it seems
  18. Should be better/longer training up to a 125 but remove the 2 year renewal.
  19. What is going on at the Aprilia paint shop?
  20. There is a world of difference between a cheap jacket & a decent branded one. Particularly in the amount of wind that gets through. Its worth the cost
  21. I'm growing it out on purpose to wind my wife up Benefit of covid is I have to wear a mask constantly at work so boss hasn't noticed. Usually it wouldn't get near that length before they would make comments
  22. I remember when starting the planning for redoing my kitchen. I convinced my Wife it would be too difficult to do for me without a cross line laser level and a shiny new jigsaw
