Probably struggle to insure it as it goes from being a moped to a motorbike. It's not designed to go more than 30mph so the insurance company will worry that the brakes, suspension, tyres etc are not up to the extra speed.

Nah its a flip top that no longer flips semes the mechanism melted Did you take out the helmet and leathers insurance cover with your bike policy??...

My Shoei is certainly quieter than my HJC, but the internal sun visor on the Shoei is slightly longer meaning the wind gets under the internal visor of the Shoei and makes my eyes water.. very annoying. Shoei with the HJC internal visor would be perfect for me. Shoeis on discount at infinity at the moment..

Ride along just fast enough so they can catch you up, but can't overtake, leave the bike in first gear so they get to enjoy the soundtrack from a real bike very close up. If they drop back, slow down so they don't miss anything.

But conversely if you're not blasting along you should have time to look at your clocks and sat-nav so no need for a HUD!

On sports bikes with the rider leaned over, the rider is looking through the top section of the visor, but this HUD seems to be mounted at the bottom of the visor, so would overlay the riders view if the bikes instruments.. To be useful on a sports bike it needs to be at the top of the visor IMO.

Wish I could, reckon it's going to be great weather for it! We are in for an October heatwave thanks to warm air being blown up from Spain, so hopefully more warm days to come..

I can imagine that was pretty scary. The closest I have been was about 1/2 mile behind a truck when the trailer tyre blew. It threw a cloud of dust and debris across the other two lanes and I remember thinking that if I had been alongside I could easily have been hit by a chunk of tyre - I rode through the wreckage a few seconds later and it didn't look pretty. Regarding the comment above from Fozzie - I think that buying an Audi must have given you a sympathetic view of them . I still find that Audi drivers are the most consistent offenders when it comes to poor or aggressive driving. I drive an Audi. If it could pull wheelies, trust me I would try!

At a right hand junction, it's it's flat I stop with my right foot down so the bike is already learning over to the right. That makes it much easier to pull away.

Cyclists seem to have some sort of special protection order on then that makes them immune to the laws of the land and warrants then to get their own lanes built and makes them never at fault if there is an accident. Try the same on a skateboard or roller skates or any other wheeled, non-motorised transport and you are going to get nicked. I think it's because the people in charge are all sex pests who enjoy dressing up in lycra and prancing about in public with skinny little bike seats jamed up their CENSORED...

If you find the reg number just apply for a new log book in your name and see if it arrives. If it does it will have the last keeper's address on there. I've never tried that or know for sure it works but that's what I've been told.

I regularly ride at motorway speeds with the visor open and never had the pinlock unstick?

Since the car driver was controlling the bike, will he get done for having no insurance?

Just close your eyes and go for it.. can't have target fixation if you cant see the target..
