Use a brick to hold it open? Or tie a bit of string to the door so you can hold it open as you push the bike through and gently release the string to let it close (assuming it's spring loaded) It's her problem, not yours. So long as you do everything you can to avoid it slamming she has nothing to complain about. I certainly wouldn't be leaving it out on the street just because of her!

easily done too on the S1000RR.. just need to wire a switch to open/close the valve...

Mine (2013 model) didnt with the standard exhaust but the 2015 models pop nicely when slowing down. no flames though - not good for health and safety i guess! With the full exhaust mine was crazy - loud pops, huge flames, really entertaining but not practical so i had to block off the air supply to stop the air getting into the exhaust. But, there is a solenoid in there. my idea is to have it switchable, so i can flick a switch and go from mildly antisocial, to flame spitting monster!

Smart business sense. They send out a few thousands letters and if nobody says they aren't attending they can invoice the government for every letter they sent out as the assumption is they will be attending so they have to have provision for every patient they contacted... And of course many will simply ignore the letter.. ca-ching!

Probably struggle to insure it as it goes from being a moped to a motorbike. It's not designed to go more than 30mph so the insurance company will worry that the brakes, suspension, tyres etc are not up to the extra speed.

Nah its a flip top that no longer flips semes the mechanism melted Did you take out the helmet and leathers insurance cover with your bike policy??...

My Shoei is certainly quieter than my HJC, but the internal sun visor on the Shoei is slightly longer meaning the wind gets under the internal visor of the Shoei and makes my eyes water.. very annoying. Shoei with the HJC internal visor would be perfect for me. Shoeis on discount at infinity at the moment..

Ride along just fast enough so they can catch you up, but can't overtake, leave the bike in first gear so they get to enjoy the soundtrack from a real bike very close up. If they drop back, slow down so they don't miss anything.

But conversely if you're not blasting along you should have time to look at your clocks and sat-nav so no need for a HUD!

On sports bikes with the rider leaned over, the rider is looking through the top section of the visor, but this HUD seems to be mounted at the bottom of the visor, so would overlay the riders view if the bikes instruments.. To be useful on a sports bike it needs to be at the top of the visor IMO.

Wish I could, reckon it's going to be great weather for it! We are in for an October heatwave thanks to warm air being blown up from Spain, so hopefully more warm days to come..

Lorries should be given a turbo boost function that lets them go over the speed restrictions just long enough to get past the slow truck in front, but can only be used maybe once per hour...

Probably been banned by health and safety incase someone actually tries to eat the bus depot...
