Tiggie Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 I miss when mine was a kitten, she used to do some funny things, like climbing up the stone lamppost at the end of my drive Quote

Fur up, claws up, hissing and spitting soon as I enter a room. But every dog wants to follow me home!I guess cats see me as one big, walking, talking dog. Quote

Mawsley Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Wife's away, it's going to be tipping down, so I'll either be in the garage stripping bikes and coating them with ACF or drunk and binge watching action films. Maybe I'll mix it up and do them all together. Quote
S-Westerly Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Could be an interesting combination. Just try not to drink the ACF, could spoil your day. Quote
Tiggie Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 rennie Irritatingly, my cat has always shit in her own garden Cant seem to get her to go to the neighbours Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 I am sorting a ride out for brekky at Old Stores. Probably have to go before the weekend though as Saturday's forecast is horrible. Quote
mojobanana Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Neighbours' cat bit me this morning. That's why I don't like them, they're tiny little w**kers in furry suits. Give me a dog any day. This weekend I shall be in Cornwall for a much needed holiday, then returning home where a puppy shall be bestowed upon my household. Off all next week while I try and master house-training. I suspect it'll take me a touch longer than that but frankly I don't have any annual leave left. Quote

I think you need to book first nowadays because of Covid We aren't camping and we're staying at the Malthouse so stiff walk or easy ride because of road closure according to Google maps. Thanks we will look into it. Aiming to be there midday tomorrow. Cheers Ian Quote
rennie Posted September 29, 2020 Author Posted September 29, 2020 There are quite a few good Pubs in or around Ironbridge!Enjoy! Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Well that's my plans up the Swanee...N Wales is going back into lockdown from Thursday. Quote
rennie Posted September 30, 2020 Author Posted September 30, 2020 Our camping in Norfolk plans are now cancelled too!Everybody else dropped out because of the weather sonow we're not going either Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 Since Wales doesn't want us we headed off for Derbyshire. Tried the Flash Bar Cafe on the road between Buxton and Leek.Highly recommended, the breakfast ingredients are superb.Going there the A54 was closed which meant a very muddy detour, came back over the Cat & Fiddle Quote
Tiggie Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 Whats happening with the cat & fiddle Pub nowadays?Last I heard it had been closed down Quote

Guest Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 Since Wales doesn't want us The boys have locked the border down again then? Quote
rennie Posted October 1, 2020 Author Posted October 1, 2020 Not quite total lockdown yet! unless it's changed in the last few hours.I can't be arsed figuring out where we're allowed and where we're not.I briefly ended up somewhere I shouldn't have been, near Wrexham,on 1 of my previous excursions Quote
S-Westerly Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 Rumour has it that large numbers of sheep have been infected with a new form of Covid so to protect us innocent English from depraved Welshmen certain areas of Wales are now locked down again. Quote
