I've found a very remote abandoned village in the Sierra de Segura mountain range in the Jaen province!

Unfortunately I may not be going this weekend for two reasons:

1. I've got a shitload of work on.

2. The temperatures are predicted to be insane........and this location is going to take a few hours to reach. I don't want another bout of heatstroke after last weekend's episode.

So I may well be sidelined this weekend........but if I'm not that's where I'll go.

I'm sure we could dig a latrine pit down by the brook. You'd need plenty of insect repellent though, it's mosquito central round here at the moment. The treeline is a SSSI for wetland.

We were going to BSB at Donington Park but now they've decided we can't :(

The grass needs cutting but I CBA!

We're going to see if we can find some lunch in a beer garden by a canal tomorrow :thumb: :thumb:

There's lots of bikes on TV this weekend :thumb:

That's no lake, it's the reservoir that tops up the moat. In this hot weather you need to keep the alligators happy or any old Tom, Dick or Harry would be wandering around the estate. I do find losing a foot now and again keeps the blighters on their toes so to speak.

This weekend I am working. It is my 22nd weekend in a row working with Community Meals since this virus thingy started. I will make it to 24 in a row, and after that booked in to a cottage for a short break at the end of the month. That is assuming no local lockdowns between now and then.

When it reached 30c at 9AM I decided it's probably wiser not to risk it on a bike today! So I've been working!

Aahhh, the issue of irritating children waving their arms about. Would definitely put me off. Little shits, I blame the parents.
