Tiggie Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Someone's being watching too much of the long way round Quote
Guest Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 He seems very far from the crossing point and the wrong way round. It's all gone horribly wrong. Quote
SometimesSansEngine Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Here's the vid if you want it, if you were in any doubt that the water height and speed would make most normal people deciding against attempting to crosshttps://www.facebook.com/stephen.wade.1422/posts/3436249259720515?__cft__[0]=AZU-TAFW6YxxTRl0c_ZIddBMdjmyCbCC5su2Pqg_FvAWZbpdPF8y3FlP2Ph68dWWVA6soOEWkvC_iWERK7VSxLFcGIB7jKQLe0C2p473IvZZINp-KOV12HoVayzUvU-nHB5m9VWbOekAuMomfJprYLEJH5KYCyriyalt8ONviC6_KHLMoz0lw1wPzeQXRMQl02BEPTm50NWY9VDru1LewBM8&__tn__=%2CO%2CP-y-RShort of a dam bursting unexpectedly so it was inches when you started crossing you wouldn't ever attempt this would you....The only positive I could take was that I think his top box stayed dry. Mississippi Bullfrog Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 He seems very far from the crossing point and the wrong way round. It's all gone horribly wrong. There is a ford just upstream but it was clearly not passable in anything other than a tank. Quote

He's done well to be pushed down river but hold the bike upright. Not a compliment he's still a tool for trying it Quote
skyrider Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 well that took some brains and that bike needs an oil change now as well Quote
Tiggie Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Might be worse than an oil change if water got down the airbox Quote
skyrider Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 could be right i wouldnt be starting it up in a hurry before a thorough check up Quote
TimR Posted June 29, 2020 Author Posted June 29, 2020 F*ck the bike starting up ..How many lives did he place at risk and how many resources tied up.? Quote
skyrider Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 things could have been better if they had stuck to the road Quote

Mississippi Bullfrog Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 “Hello. Is that the AA. My bike won’t start, I think it’s flooded”. Weird. That is word for word what I posted on our local FB group about this. Great minds think alike. Quote
125cc Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 i wonder if they have dried it out yet Nothing a bit of WD40 and some T-Cut won't fix. It'll be back on the road already We all make mistakes and as a novice I'm careful not to make fun of others' misfortunes, however there are some cases where I really do wonder what goes through folks' heads. Like folk who drive cars into a flood and get shocked when they have to get rescued... Quote
jedibiker Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 But he has an adventure bike and got new tyres week before lol Quote
