Mississippi Bullfrog Posted July 9, 2022 Posted July 9, 2022 I wanted a chain alignment tool. The Motion Pro tool is £20 but says made in the USA. A Chinese clone if £8. I went for the one made in the USA. When it arrived the box says 'Made in China'. Not a happy bunny. 9 1 Quote

dynax Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 Good morning Had a great ride out yesterday with the club, covered over 350 miles and went down some great roads, loved it 4 Quote
Steve_M Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 Good evening. Today’s bimble. Not including navigational errors. We had a couple of extended refreshment breaks which made it a good day out. I can recommend the tea room at Carsphairn if you’re passing. Some of the roads are amazing, some are a bit careworn. All were enjoyable. 6 Quote

Mississippi Bullfrog Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 I have opened the velux windows in our roof. So far as I can tell they haven't been opened for many years. They are over the stairwell so even on a ladder I can't reach them by hand. We've lived here three years and there wasn't a pole to reach them when we moved. Sod's law says I won't be able to close them when it rains but it is making the house cooler today. 1 Quote
Fiddlesticks Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 I've bought a 12" fan and two bottles of water. Freeze both bottles, then put one in a tray of water. Blow the fan over the top. Swap them around when the first one melts. Poor man's air conditioner. 2 Quote
