Thanks both. They have one with a 360kg max load weight for fifty quid. Might buy one.

What's storage like for ramp, scaffold planks are cheap, just cut to length and join side by side if you need width, I have an 8ft plywood one for my van but I have a garage to store it in

It's not the load bearing capacity I'd be concerned about . Unfortunately I can picture the thing shooting out from under the bike as you desperately try to put your feet down halfway up a flight of steps .

I might just get ground anchors and have done with it.

Trying to remember if you have posted picture of access, someone might have bright solution...

Might be worth starting another post so we can all appreciate the problem..

Maybe "James getting it up and away without putting a hole in it leaking lube every where"..

I don`t think many people will read a thread about James getting it up.

Mind you @dynax and @Six30 are full of surprises lol.

Cheers

Now, how to get it up the steps...

Extend the lower ramp and form  it into a platform so that the rear wheel is higher as the front goes over the top lip ... Or a couple of scaffold planks joined side by side and secondary planks joined 2/3 of the way to strengthen and extend.

Cheers Jedi, when you getting the engine out to get the top off?

I can check the top with the engine in, so will be on that today when rain stops. Ive been advised the big end has gone so will test that too. if its that then its engine out and new one to find. massive f**k up for an oil filter.

Yes @fastbob told me it was all for oil filter, I had not realised that. Such a pain in the arse!

when people upgrade bikes they must not think long term. The pipes they added just seem basic anyway so no idea why add them. However, it was my fault i drilled to far so the issues now are on me.
