Thanks everyone, luckily the cats help keeping me busy too so I still have a daily routine to follow.

Is it from today that we can go out too, mind you that will make no difference soon anyway as the car will have to go back to motability, so all I will have is the bike for transport, will have to try and get another CBT booked in otherwise I won't even have that come mid April, not unless the .Gov allow an extension.

Cheers all :thumb:

I think most places are starting CBT's from 12th April .. The places local to me are taking bookings now.

Just heard that the DVSA are allowing training to start on the 29th March to allow people to prepare for tests starting 12th April.

Fingers crossed you should be good to go!

Got my CBT booked for 1st April so hopefully with my 2 years of experience it should be straight forward enough :thumb:

You'll be fine mate - keep your eyes and mind on the road and you'll be fine.

I know, it's just the confidence not lack of but more being over confident, there have been times where I have pushed myself and the bike beyond my comfort zone ( on a 125 I hear you laughing ), but I have more experience in what I can and can't do so sometimes I have taken more risks than someone with little experience would.

Things like pulling out of junctions, one junction in particular where I live I have good visiblity and it is a left only, and I can come out at a decent speed if the conditions are right.

You have a point I remember last year listening to Claudio Von Planta talking about failing his bike test for the long way up (or maybe round 🤷‍♀️) and he actually failed twice not just the once shown on the prog. One fail for riding too confidently (ie fast) and not doing his life savers and the second time for being too cautious, he couldn’t believe it 😂

He passed the third time when he remembered his life savers and rode like he normally does just slightly slower. So that’s the key, like you normally do but slightly slower and you’ll be dandy. But this is a CBT not a full test, they only want to check your not gonna have or cause an accident and you’re going to be waaaay past that standard or you wouldn’t still be riding 👍

It will give me the chance to brush up on my slow maneuvers as I also have my MOD1 booked for the 27th April :thumb:

My first wheely was on my 125cc at a T junction to nip into traffic.  Give it big  throttle quick out on clutch, previously trying this revs would fall off and I would be fine this time it was to much throttle I guess.

I crossed the first carriageway on one wheel aiming directly at the pavement opposite 😳 yes I think little bits of 💩 did come out.

Hit brakes brought front wheel down and practiced an embarrassing slow speed right turn to join carriage way.

Enough people come a cropper on a 125cc not to laugh..

'credit card' - means I can't afford it and you're not wrong!
