TMBF RALLY 2024

WHEN: 6th - 8th September 2024

WHERE: The Black Bull, Brampton. 25 Church Ln, Brampton, Huntingdon. PE28 4PF

DETAIL:  Camping = FREE!  Toilets + Washroom on-site (HOT WATER) = FREE!  Large car park to the side of the pub (Room for a Campervan (POWER AVAILABLE).  Breakfast available (pre-book the evening before).  Real Ale  Evening meals (including on-site BBQ).  Entertainment (TBC). Use of Marquee = FREE!

Ride outs will be conducted on the Saturday.

Dogs allowed

NO: Personal BBQs allowed and alcohol consumed on the premises MUST be purchased from the venue (during opening hours.

 

Guys: This is a fantastic venue at very low cost!!!!

NB. There are hotels, B&Bs and a camp site close by.

As above, I'd like to go, but it's a bit early to tell yet, but having seen a YouTube vid (who was that?) it looks like a good crack.

Depends if I'm in Europe at the time.

What is going on with folk - We used to have great turn-outs.

 

It can't be the cost - ITS FREE!

 

Not difficult to get to (A1/A14 Junction).

 

Maybe it is limited to people who actually ride bikes / like bikes / like folks who like bikes / like having a good time / like meeting others / etc.

 

Maybe it is time I gave up trying.

Tis a shame, it's just bad timing and distance for me IE both together.

I will be in Germany with @Gerontious and possibly @bonio and @smallfrowne who I wouldn't have met if it wasn't for this forum. So although I can't support this event I am sort of on another  forum related event.

Yes. It’s an unfortunate clash of dates. I’ve been doing these trips since 2011 and every year it’s been the same week. (Aside from during Covid) The first full week after the August Bank holiday.

I'll also be in Germany.

As there are only 3 coming (including me), I will need to let the owner of the Black Bull know that it is not going to happen.

 

We have until the end of this month to 'firm up' or, he will need to arrange a different outdoor event for that weekend.

 

Personally, I am extremely disappointed that this Rally has not been 'headlined' on our forum.

At the minute I am far too busy trying to look after my father and mother in law who aren't in a good way, live a life and turn up for work! 

 

Some people have noticed that I have been very quiet on the forum and it's because of this! I haven't even turned my pc on in months and have only been using my phone which is no good for doing what you want. 

 

Unfortunately sometimes things get in the way beyond our control and the forum takes a back step in this situation.
